Italian here: he's actually got a good Italian pronounciation, which is not so common in native English speaking opera singers. Bears mentioning this isn't originally a Opera song, but he turned it to that so naturally that for a second I was thinking about it as if it was!!! While this is our Lucio Dalla's "Caruso"!!!

Not only is his spirit and aura stunning, his voice is powerful and otherworldly. Watching him in the zone, with such a secure and stable presentation, that is contained and really masculine is beautiful to see.

South Africa might be a cultural country and all, he, as a classical singer, he would not have won any talent show here. Target audiences for these kinda shows in South Africa are young and POP oriented. So no, he is not recycled from here my friend. Britain found this talent on its own.

I watch and listen to this video several times a day as I am mesmerized by this fabulous opera singer that I have ever heard. His personality is fab and his singing beyond any other opera singer. I hope he rises to become world known. God bless him and his beautiful fiancé. He’s a huge WOW.

Why not let him have his shining moment and not take anything away with prefacing your comments with "I'm not taking anything away but" because your thinly veiled real thought is showing you out here. Because BGT is for people who need a break into the industry. Amateurs. He has already been hired by quite a phenomenally prestigious organisation and is already being paid for that work. I too am a music teacher. And a vocal coach. And I know that this young man has already been given training opportunities beyond the wildest dreams of the majority of applicants for this show. I said “I’m not taking anything away from his incredible talent” - there’s no disputing his talent, what I am disputing is if this is the correct showcase for his talent. He’s already had his break into the professional world. He’s already living it.
