Exactly. I understand everyone is different and some people needs to express themselves constantly, but I'm glad she doesn't have her first dog embalmed and covered in gold or some of the weird stuff we are used to see in celebrities home's. They had a huge budget and did a huge home, but very nice!

I like the way Jessica allows her kids to express themselves on camera without fear of being censored. Also how she doesn't feel the need to look immaculate and glamorous throughout the whole video. She seems like a very open-minded and accepting mother.

Instead of the giant monstrosities that you come to expect form celeb homes, this is pleasantly conservative. The house is sized perfectly for their family but still equipped with standard but not excessive luxurious amenities. It looks very lived in and actually feels like a home and not a museum.

I think she just knows how to be pretty chill and happy and takes care of her self inside and out. He hasn’t had $1 million worth of plastic surgery or anything and that is for some people, but she just hasn’t gone that route or really needed to. And she has great genetics which doesn’t hurt :-).. She seems like a pretty honest person, not to make a pawn out of her company‘s name or anything. I’ve always enjoyed her.

I applaud Jessica for teaching her kids to learn and appreciate their roots and dedicating a wall for their ancestors. Great job setting the kids rooms to fit their child developmental needs. Imagine being an actress, being able to marry a decent man who is a business tycoon or a credible actor, both being financially stable and not having to act when you are no longer relevant and being able to enjoy a quiet family life making dinner. I've watched this on and off since it came out and I love how you can watch a home tour of a celebrity with of a ton of money but still actually get practical ideas applicable to any household. That TV easel is actually a freaking great idea for a second level of bedrooms, for example.

That was a stupid thing to say and look at the result , she has two light haired daughters who failed her expectations and ridiculed her , just by being borned. Also she was very disapointed when she lurnt that she was mostly of white decent when she took a genetic test. I might be wrong , but I guess she was annoyed that the girl expressed specifically an interest in the white people of the family, and obviously those pictures are supposed to have been there for a while but they never talked about them before...

I think a big part of that is their mother. Jessica can pay people to do house works, nannies etc and just relax like most rich house wives, but she doesn't. It rubs off to the children I think.

Seriously Btw.. they do not show you the security area, with the security guards, and all the other parts of the house that require not only the security guards, the bodyguards, the house staff, meaning the personal chefs, the cooks, the nannies Etc all the house help, their quarters of where they live and the main bedroom where Jessica herself, and her husband live and there one of five to six different spaces required for her shoes, her clothing, his shoes, his clothing, jewelry, his jewelry, their own separate bathrooms Etc trust me when I say this I used to be a maid and I've seen some very rich people and I'm not saying I know her I know people that have a lot of money meaning tens of millions of dollars

This house is so beautiful AND family friendly! I love the beauty of the kids' bedrooms, while still having their own personal touches such as the fairy lights. It's fascinating to see that someone of Ms. Alba's status has retained her humility and humor. Again, she only showed 1/10th , prob less, *of her actual house, she's obviously not going to show you where the security room is with all the cameras, the bodyguards, the security staff, the nannies, the personal chefs, the housemaids,* their quarters, her personal bedroom with her husband, both of their closets for their shoes and their jewelry and their clothing all separate rooms... Three separate bathrooms... Personally I would have a very one-sided family wall. My father didn't speak to any of his relatives in my lifetime he is now since passed away. I do not know the reason for the family Fallout I have never asked and to be honest with you I wasn't overly bothered. You can only choose your friends you get your family forced on you.
