Open question to professional players, at what level of poker do you think it is necessary to be studying solvers? For example, is it realistic to make some sort of income from low stakes live play while studying concepts rather than solvers?
@jonathansykes4986
@jonathansykes4986 11 днів тому
You can make a living playing 2/5 Live without looking at a solver. Live poker is a joke and will continue to always be a joke.

Agreed w the above. Low stakes (up to 109s) and until u get to live high stakes I don’t think it’s necessary. Although gto will def help u to know when to exploit
@Bibonow
@Bibonow 10 днів тому
I think viewing/experimenting some GTO with solvers will help you have a base and starting from there will allow you to deviate and exploit more the population you are playing.

It's 100% skill, but like a main job for most winning players it will be false pick in long term ratio, comapre to other things they can do.

If you live in a poor country with no future and low poker profits taxation why not. If you live in Greece for example like me y ll have hard times as a professional . Unreal big taxes on legit poker platforms, very bad casinos almost nothing.You are doomed !
