This camper was originally a DPD delivery van we purchased in 2020 for $12,000. We tried to be as innovative, creative, and practical as possible to ensure this van is perfect for us in all the MANY years to come. Modularity was key for this build, and lucky for us if we ever forget how we created something in the van, we have VERY detailed videos of every step of the entire process ;)

what would you guys do if you had to build the most minimal house out of a cheaper car/van?; specifically for someone who might spend time foraging and living off the land. Also amazing video! i’m 19 and this is really inspiring for someone who wants to live off the land. (if the people see this the budget would be around $15,000

Everything you have done is spectacular! I am jealous as I don’t have all your skills, yet as a man in the process of building a van in the real world I must say that your numbers on this build don’t add up. I have already spent 20k on my build and I’m not even half done. And this is doing everything myself. Please be realistic with your numbers as you may be misleading a lot of wanttobes Chow

Of all the van builds, I think you've designed / engineered the best modern solution for creatives. Having a 3D printer running while you are on long drives is a stroke of genius.

Not just for creatives. it's the best overall build i've seen ever. switch out the drone equipment and print other holders. replace the 3d printer compartment with some other tech, maybe a gaming pc. reorganize one of the thousand small compartments. replace the e bikes with normal bikes or an e scooter. there are so many options to easily customize this van

I'm retiring next year (62 y.o.) I honestly see no point living in a house till I die. THIS is the way I want to retire ! I have friends and family scattered evenly from SoCal to St Pete Florida and living the van life has a huge appeal to me. I wish I found this lifestyle earlier but we can't go back in time so builds like this inspires me to build new or buy and outfit to my taste. I'm actually excited to retire now, this is definitely an eye opener 😍

@@dimarak8866 Overall yes it is shit, but if you compare it with other camper vans it is at par, its like when you top in the class with 5 marks out of 100, you still get A+ grade. So basically it isn't that of a shit, depends on the frame of reference. I would say it is doable and functional, not the most luxurious like leisure travel vans, but still innovative thinking and practically functional whilst making efficient use of the space.

I've seen so many van builds and me saying "Oh this by far is the best built one that I've seen so far". Until I came across your guy's build, trust and believe I've seen over 3 years of van, bus, and box truck conversion. Your guy's build is 2nd to no other. It's the details ✨️ that was put into this. 😮❤ Just the other day I thought that I don't belive a few very popular Vanlife UKpostsrs saying they life in the build 24/7 because they put emphasis on things like vases and roll out make up shelfs but had no space for tools or kitchen appliances or hidden spaces for tech 😅 This is the first build that truly makes sense to me as a long term all purpose/ all live situations solution! Very impressive❤❤❤

Incredible build. Practical and functional. I love different builds because you see what people prioritize. No amount of smart engineering would displace coziness and comfort for me, and this build doesn't look or feel very cozy to live in, but it seems to work well for what you two prioritze and that's what matters. I don't care for the industrial/workshop feel.

What a masterpiece of a Class B Motorhome, Office, Workshop and Technical Wonder. If you were to start a van company using your awesome layouts, designs, technology by having a totally self-contained traveler, what would be your MSRP for this vehicle as it stands today? I can see you one-day down the road becoming the future in van builds, like you did with your state of the art e-super-speed-motor-bikes. In my honest opinion, you two have totally out smarted, out designed all other VAN MANUFACTURERES WORLD-WIDE! No matter who they are, the years of spending millions, if not billions of dollars throughout the years creating these kind of Class B's or what they have created, in recorded history of van and conversion builds. BRAVO!

Thanks! This layout is tailored for us. It would not be commercially successful. I agree a lot of companies can take few ideas from this build but for average folk the layout is pretty much what we see in commercial vans.

It's not uncommon to fall in the $75k base + $75k conversion=150k US. Though, if you use an older van and remove various personal upgrades it probably falls into the 100k range.

I’ve seen a number of van conversions and this is by far the best. You have multiple storage locations, cameras, things swivel and hide. Leveraging 3D printing for additional self-sufficiency and your use of color is awesome. One question, what area or system are you least happy with or breaks down most often and why?

I’ve watched a lot of van builds and always found them really good but honestly you guys are next level. You guys have completed the game haha. Awesome. Feeling really inspired. My goal is to downsize from a 65 foot canal narrowboat to a habitable van for me and my 3 dogs to go touring in. Your design nails it. The top half bed with garage under and the half height bathroom are divine. You have given me a ton of ideas and I can now see myself doing my own conversion rather than compromising on a commercial design that doesn't really meet my needs.

All this makes perfectly sense to me! Great work and Mind blowing. This is some sort of a Test Field for everyone who wants to improve the way camper Vans are designed today. If you compare this with anything that is on the market right now, you will agree, that this one here is much more advanced and practical than the majority of the well known stuff. There would be a market for such a design - for sure.

Thanq for sharing your home on wheels. I REALLY, REALLY LOVE your kitchen cupboards etc, some brilliant ideas. I prefer those fidges to the chest ones, with the chest ones stuff can get lost on bottom.its a brilliant idea to get into bin cupboard. What a fantastic build with some extremely excellent ideas. Very nice. Love viewing different van life architectures and designs. This is high tech, however an opportunity for network engineering a mini pc to home automate all digital controls to your phone shortcuts would be interesting. I think this would eliminate wires and physical buttons/breaks, adding space for who knows what! Happy to provide details, as it's a steep and long learning curve.

I admire the guy's ability and skill level. The ability to engineer and excellently build is amazing. It used to be that men had to learn and could put their hand to most things compared to what is expected today.

Holy Cow! What a project and what a result! Your van is definitely through the roof and off the charts. I'm very impressed with the level of detailing. ... One detail: With all the wiring and the sophisticated electrical system you could've also just bolted a fully decked out Mac Mini somewhere under the floorboards or in a wall and not be worried about someone snatching your laptop. But that's just me nitpicking. This is effing impressive and *very* inspirational. I'm considering going Vanlifestyle my self and this sort of thing is right up my alley and in definitely taking away some solid inspiration and ideas from this. Great planning. Great execution. You guys rock and just made my day. Thank you for this video!

This is very epic build, one thing one would add is probably a big retractable tent one could extend during longer stay and sunny days, but then again if its sunny and warm maybe just outside do the trick. I would consider buying this build if available for sure.

I watched this video and was touched by the lovely couple's original and creative B.Cless camper. I think it will be helpful to decorate my camper van later. Thanks for sharing this wonderful video

I've always love watching these camper van design videos, but only this time my jaw got dropped a bit seeing the sophistication levels. That on-board 3D printer is a brilliant idea, you can even one day replace it with the more industrial grade (providing the space is enough, of course), and sell your 3D printing services on the road.
