That’s a different branch of disney that deals with engineers responsible for developing technology and designing theme park attractions, they’re contracted by Disney but aren’t permanent employees as they have specific skills a bit like an electrician employed to do the lighting for a hotel then moves to another place , I only know this coz a friend was contracted for disneyland paris space mountain, it’s not the same Disney as those woke gen z who have ideas of remaking a movie and changing all the beloved characters to include diversity and ruining it

A very quick way to ferry people in and out of cities but also can link up as a train style system to send people in similar directions before disconnecting to move them onto to other areas.

10:15 dont think so. on a standard track, there is no way to change tracks with a single track configuration. You need completely different, newly constructed switches for this system. So if advantage is small frequency and flexibility of wagons offered, there has to be a way to store them and to select from them - so you need switches. For autonomous drive, this system has the same major problem as a traditional two-track configuration (without the need for self stabilizing): As those tracks are NOT separated from surroundings where people move.

The solar panel deployment is pretty cool, but what they leave out is that the system will most likely cost 100 times as much as dropping off a diesel generator that can do the same thing. In a fraction of the space, I might add.

An equivalent diesel generator requires tons of diesel and produces air and sound pollution I might add. And pv panels do not cost 100x more.
@dougsholly9323
@dougsholly9323 Місяць тому
@@stevejones1318 well, "tons of diesel" is kind of redundant. A diesel generator doesn't run on hopes and dreams. Noise pollution? Most diesel generators are pretty quiet, relatively speaking. It does make pollution, but not any more than one 18 wheeler, and again, for a miniscule fraction of the cost of that solar array. Honestly, I'm not sure what your point is.

That Monocab owl will never go anywhere. It's way too dangerous. You would have to design a rail system for it. If you just existing railroads and the cab malfunctions, people will be hurt. Not only that it would damage the cab, possibly, to the point that it would need major repairs. Anyone who's drop their motorcycle while riding knows what am talking about. They might work in cities that have trollies, where the rails are embedded in the road. People would still get hurt, but the fall won't be as bad. Damage to the cab would be also less sever.

The main drawback of solar PV is the water pollution involved in the manufacture off PVs, the loss of wildlife habitat, the fickle nature of solar energy and disposal of old panels. A better solution: Molten Salt Reactors. More energy for the amount of resources used. Power when it is needed. High fees charged to industries that pollute, deplete resources or destroy wildlife habitat would cause the market to find the best solutions automatically. Sharing fee proceeds equally will make the policy fair.

@@billyo.9969 A great advantage of a policy that aims to create a more honest market is that consumers do not need to know the details of every product they buy. It is enough to do what they do already anyway: Seek the lower price, the better deal. When prices are honest, what is profitable will align with what is sustainable. (If I'm wrong about MSRs being the best solution, an honest market will soon show what *is* the best.)
