Really curious how the lineup shakes up, I want one but worth waiting. I’m not spending a lot and not get a 90-120hz, mainly for Digital Art so I don’t care too much for local dimming. it would be a nice gesture to bless the Air as well with a OLED instead of miniLED, even at 60hz the persistence blur would be improved.

I know they'll probably never do these but I need an option for a back button, split-screen multitasking, and an entry-level phone with a large screen.

If you enjoy mini LED, just get a refurbished 12.9 M2 iPad Pro a month from now. There will be a price drop once the new iPad Pros come out and you get a functional 128GB model unlike Airs that start with a paltry 64GB storage. (Edit: but mini LED is just not worth it... it's a stop gap measure to allow Apple enough time to fine tune the dual stack OLED)

I’m holding off until they release a new mini. A better display, Face ID and of course better performance. Current battery life is great still and MagSafe would be fantastic but I doubt it

I think one areas of improvement suggestion is to rethink simplicity, which use to make Apple products and software so distinctive. Perhaps AI will simplify user interface commands. Regardless, I keep hearing complaints from friends on topics like, how do you get the camera flash to stay on? Oh, you go here and then here, and then click this. That’s where I think Apply has gotten too ‘pro friendly’. 😅 Let’s hope they can use AI to ‘flatten’ the command options into more contextual prompts and steps. Great video btw!

I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and it still works great! The only things tempting me to upgrade is the refresh rate and usbc. Also I believe Apple needs to finally put at least a 90hz screen on the lower models to close the gap between their models. Maybe that’ll help sales in China who knows. Or maybe launch the SE models alongside the other models. Just so people have a bigger selection of iPhones when buying a phone.

I still have my 12 pro max and runs like it’s new there’s no new feature I need on the iPhones and people don’t want to keep there bill high from a new phone every year with no new features. This year I hope they give us a bigger screen and oled screen

I have a 15 Pro Max(my first iphone ever) and also a s24+. I wasn't even planning to get the s24+ but Samsung always has ridiculously good trade in deals. I'm sure more people would upgrade if similar deals would be offered by Apple. Also, Samsung's AI is pretty cool. I read a lot of articles online and I like using the "summary" AI feature that the S24 has. The real time phone translations also help since I have bilingual clients due to the nature of my work. Being a newer iphone user, I almost never use Siri for anything other than setting reminders and alarms.

I only update iPhones when they upgrade properly cameras - their processors are great already - I wish they pay more attention to cameras - apple could easily add pro version to camera app with settings like colour custom setups …making it like fuji x100. LiDar is also great feature but they don’t support it enough with their own app. Imagine if you could scan your rooms, spaces, things on phone ( no need to send that data anywhere to be processed) and then share it and view it in 3d - that would be cool.

For the new iPhone, some kind of non-intrusive biometric reader. Not sure what that is just yet but it must go beyond an in-screen fingerprint reader (although that would be nice too). Like maybe some sort of non-contact bio reader that can see your DNA or something like that. IOW, turn biometric security into a 'lean back' experience rather than a 'lean forward' experience like face ID is. BTW. I got the Laifen Wave tooth brush and love it. Hopefully it will result in less cleaning time at the dentist.

It looks brand new with battery health around 93% There’s not much innovation left in this industry. We have nearly reached the final form of the smartphone. Heck even the iPhone X doesn’t look a generation apart when compared to the 15 series. I think VR/AR is the industry with the maximum potential for innovation now

While its not a pro-consumer move, skipping out on mini led for ipad airs is absolutely fine. Yes oleds and mini led does make for better watching experience, which is basically all that people use these devices for. But i honestly dont think enough ppl mind it/notice the difference when binging a series or watching it in a pitch black room but with max brightness. Now apple should honestly make all their products include oled seeing as how every other tablet competitor does but thats not the apple way so we'll get it when we get it. My real question is how far along is micro led to becoming a viable consumer tech in phones/laptops/watches. Cause thats what apple will probably want in pro products so that the mid tier options can fully use oled.

Here are my million dollar ideas: 1) iPad shd be able to be used as a monitor when the iPhone camera app is open, and 2) the iPhone shd be able to work as a full screen keyboard for the iPad in landscape orientation (leaving the iPad full screen for work.) Whatever Apple does in the AI feature space, it has to be accessible to average folks who aren’t tech enthusiasts and aren’t interested in AI for the sake of AI. Fortunately it’s exactly that kind of approach to tech that Apple shines at. Maybe their AI won’t be as powerful but it will almost certainly be more useful to more people than what the first movers have shown us so far.

If these are Retina displays does it really matter? Thing is normals jut want something that works so why purchase a new Apple iPhone. The ones we have no just work. At one point I was on the upgrade program. Thing was every year I was hit with full Washington State sales tax for full value of the iPhone. Not just tax on the payment each month. So why am I going to pay 24 months full price of the iPhone every year? So stopped doing that.

Funny everybody wants something new! I still use a airport express from 2011. Why? because it uses airplay1 which acutally streams from my iphone 13 mini apple music in full CD quality, 16/44. Airplay2 on new apple products streams in 256 bit. So, just because something is old, doesn't mean its obsolete. I wish Apple would get into networking again. Yup old boomer here, but back in the the day you used a apple Airport to hookup your printer( back then no wirless printers) and make it wireless. And yes you could use it with windows back then.

As for iPhone, I’d like to see it work flawlessly. No more pocket dials. Also, everyone is fed up with Siri. They are behind the curve in AI. Ecosystem needs to be more cohesive. It is now good but not great. As for new ideas, I do not work for Apple. I think it was Jobs who said they should tell me what I want.

The combination of massive inflation of necessity items like motor fuel and groceries here in the USA and the Chinese government banning government officials from using iPhones is killing iPhone sales around the world. We might be able to score some major deals on the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus models very soon just to clear out backing up inventory. I think the somewhat bad experience with mini LED displays explain why Apple decided against using them on the rumore 12.9" iPad Air.

Hear me out. I'm not a fan of the foldable phones but love the form factor when they are unfolded. How about an ipad mini pro that includes cellular service. Phone calls and text to other platforms like the iPhone. I'd drop samsung in a heart beat.

While I do not believe in upgrading my devices every year and i have an Iphone XSMax and old 2010 imac 27" , I do have an Ipad Pro 12.9 6th gen 1TB - I use to create , I would upgrade it apple would think more of creators and make it so i can calibrate color correction as what I see is not what prints out. I know about reference mode. But it is not good enough as still need to send to my pc to adjust and print. I have ICC files for my paper on my PC and what comes out on my print is what is displayed. I calibrate my monitor and printer four to six times a year. Even my Mac 27" is calibrated four times a year. - I love my IPad Pro with M2 chip, I just wish i could fix the colors to Print correctly. My PC is also older - AMD Threadripper 1950X 16 cores 10 years but still great and windows 11 with a crack . Also upgraded my Imac 27" with SSD, 16gb ram and Metal Video card to work todays programs, Also on the latest OS, I will not upgrade my iPad Pro - unless its something that help with Color Calibration.

Anyone that actually think iPad Air with mini led is nuts considering Apple marketing and line of products. Mini led is their premium feature that’s only available for their most expensive iPad for only 1 year/gen. m1 was a 3-4 years old tech to be on iPad Air, and that was already surprising.

What if the next iPad mini was foldable? It could allow Apple to explore foldable with a “niche” but well established device. Allowing Apple to obtain results of wear and tear on foldable equipment without worrying about hurting the Apple brand nor the bottom line.

The more rumors I read, the more I think the new iPad Air (6. Gen.) is already here. So let's think about it: no OLED, display has probably 600 Nits, base model expected to start with 128 GB instead of 64 GB, maybe 11" display instead of 10,9", for sure an M2 chip (as the Pro will get the M3), more or less the same design (except the colors) etc. Or in other words - the iPad Air 2024 is basically the 11" iPad Pro 2022 with some minor design tweaks and Touch ID instead of Face ID. If you consider buying an iPad Air 2024 I honestly think you could as well just buy an 11" iPad Pro 2022. 🤔

I was with Apple a long time, went to the Fold 5 and just went back to Apple and now regret it. I have started to use the AI features a lot, multitasking on a Max iPhone should be possible, I should be able to setup my phone the way I want it - I get that this is not Apple’s style, but once you are used to it then it’s hard giving it up again. I like the filing system better on Samsung and just feel more efficient and productive on a Samsung or android. I guess it’s just time for me to move on from Apple. I thought I missed it, but it’s not been great being back. I’ll take the knock and move back again, if WWDC don’t convince me.

I don’t think in the time of touch screen amazing laptops from Lenovo, Asus, and Samsung also with OLED displays with free pencil and also clearly a fully functional keyboard and even very light that anyone would consider paying above $1000 for a tablet that still needs extra $ for a keyboard and a pencil and above all of that a limited OS compared to a full MacBook 😅😂
