If ever you have to upgrade to iPhone 13 Pro Max, get the 265gb and above, since it have the max ProRes capability in video recording (4K at 30fps). If you'll just go for 128gb for the iPhone 13 Pro Max, I don't think the upgrade would be 100% worth it, you better stick with your 11 or just get the base model 13. I personally think that iPhone 13 Pro Max is an overkill as it is a massive and powerful techno beast. In terms of value: $899 256GB iPhone 13 > $1,099 256GB iPhone 13 Pro > $1,099 128 GB iPhone 13 Pro Max. Anyway, iPhones have a much better resale value in the second hand market compared to android phones. So even if your iPhone 11 is still good for the next 3 years or so, now is the time where you can still trade-in or sell your phone for a great price (if your battery health is 80%+).

Don’t upgrade until 4 generations, the 12 pro i upgrades from the 6 so I think it’s best to save your money unless you are rich

Yea well……I still use a 6s daily. I’ve had it since 2015. I have replaced the battery a few times over the years though. Certainly not the best IPhone….but it isn’t terrible either. Personally, I’d rather have money in my pocket vs being broke owning a new IPhone.

I imagine you will get much better times because it's a variable refresh rate and when your just looking at a picture or scrolling through comments the refresh rate lowers down to 10hz and since most of the tests were done using a game or videos then it would essentially be pushing the refresh rate to 120hz or 60hz

Well that's kind've to be expected. Comparing it to the Moto G6 Plus, that also came out in 2018, the Moto had a better battery capacity and better battery life. It also had a better display, iPhones have really only gotten seriously good with the release of the iPhone 13, because the battery life for iPhones before it is getting dwarfed by Android phones even in the £100-£200 price bracket. I got myself a Moto G100 and the performance is amazing, not as good as iPhones, but I'm glad that you're happy with your purchase, since I think Apple have really tried to push out great phones this time around.

@@chrisbarosky7314 I tried android but it wasn’t user friendly. Apps would crash if I tried to swipe back and forth between them. Sure the camera was great but it was impractical to impossible to send the pictures I took on android as the file was so large and always sent as grainy. Among other things, iPhone is simpler to use and relatively dependable

I just upgraded from a IPhone 6 Plus so broken it had no home button, you could barely do anything on it. It’s battery lasted probably 2 hours on low brightness. I upgraded to a iPhone 13 (didn’t want big phone) and it’s amazing
