Both phones are amazingly fast. To me it doesn’t matter how fast it loads. In real world situations you don’t care about that. What’s important is you have the best of the best top of the line counterparts. I’d take the ultra, however, I’m apple since I’m used to the ecosystem and most I know have so sharing photos etc. is faster.

Why people don't raise the question of how flickery modern OLED screens now? We had flickering problem with old TVs and back that it was a problem everyone knew about, now people just ignore it.

You should forced stop other hidden apps and constantly optimize the memory of S22 Ultra before competing with iP14. Android is similar to windows which run hidden apps in the background.

Both are great phones, but I have switch to iPhone after years of software issues and lack of updates after two years with Samsung/android in general. Still have a iPhone 8 running iOS 16, replaced the battery after 3 years and it still works great. But I do miss android’s customizability, but IOS has gotten better.

If I could get the same functionality on an iPhone that I get on Android, plus superior performance of the iPhone, I'd switch right now. But we can never have our cake and eat it too. We have to pick what is most important. The iPhone is a smooth and reliable experience but it is also a barebones experience. Samsung's approach is to offer all kinds of functionality. For me, that functionality is the most important. Some people say that a lot of that stuff is bloat but that's silly. I've looked at things like Dex and said, I don't imagine I would ever use that, but when I had a problem with wifi because of my location, I ended up using Dex for 2 weeks to run my business. I was kind of raising my eyebrow about Dex for years before that then suddenly, I needed it and I was in love with it at that point. But if my life depended on which phone I had in my pocket, I'd buy an iPhone for sure.
