iPhone 8 is still good in 2023. Everyone is saying you need 11 or plus to be modern. But even iPhone 6s still gets security updates on iOS 15. I have a red iPhone 8 plus and it’s fast and still has a reasonable camera. I replaces the battery so it’s at 100% health. The battery goes around 1,5 day of much use.

And one crazy thing is that my previous iphone (7)’s taptic engine broke because i was addicted to pressing the homebutton when i switched from android with very loud and old vibration motor.

Wow! I think the iPhone 8 is great for 2023. Although it could be old it still has great camera quality, not laggy (sometimes). Its also great because i personally think people would find the home button more useful instead of having a hard time of swiping up and down, you know? 😂

Yeah. It does have a bit of separation near the bottom and top. I think it’s due to the battery expanding. Ima replace it and see if that fixes it

@@titustech337just upgraded my 8 plus with 76% battery health recently to the 15 Plus but the 8 plus was surprisingly still really fast at doing most things and oddly enough had great standby time without charging even with its degraded battery

Right now, yes. But probably not for too much longer. Most apps require iOS 14.0 or later right now.
