As always a great video. I have one question have you had chance yo compare in poor mobilr reception areas. The pro iqoo models aleays have outstanding connection quality compared to othet phones. I wondered if the base model does too. If so it makes it the best phone for people who live with poor reception. I was impressed by the video it seemrd to focus the human subjects faces quicker.

It would be a great option if released in the US or Europe, although it would probably cost nearer £900 if you include taxes and import costs. Still, that is very reasonable. But I would still pay the extra for an SD8G3 S24+ between the two.

Clarification on the OS. From my understanding Funtouch OS is global ROM. Origin OS is China ROM. If we go with origin OS, will google timeline still work with the device? I have seen reviews stating that China Rom will not allow google timeline to work. Thanks

Unfortunately I had to send the Vivo IQOO 12 pro back, the app notifications were very irregular

Origin OS may be good, but large part of it is exclusivly in chinese, and some options might be used only in mainland china, which is masive downside. I have VivoX70Pro+ and sometimes it's annoying im restricted by chiese options only which i cant understand. Phone is great, camera really impresive, but if they would sell global version of their top tier flagship it would be awsome. I would definetly buy X100Pro+, but with chinese software i may just choose Pixel for more convinience

Pretty impressive! If in Europe that was the price of the phone, it would sell like any other phone before. It would be a smack in the face of Samsung and Apple, selling phone at double price. All flagship phones shouldn't cost more than 700€/$. But when people buy phones at the prices the companies want, there's nothing we can do.

Hey Ben. I have been thinking of upgrading from a Note 20 ultra to a top spec Chinese flagship phone. What worries me is that all Google services and a Android for that matter are only supported and available till 2025. Any phone of 2023 will not update anything after 2025. Probably all users have to adopt Huawei's Harmony OS after that. What say you?
