My husband is dying of cancer and he tried to sing this for me, his wife, I cried so hard thank you, he's been fighting so hard these past 3 years, our kids are strong too I play this for them whenever I can't cry because this song just breaks me

And “When everything feels like the movies, you bleed just to know you’re alive” is so poetic and real. Want to feel alive? Suffer. Struggle. Endure. That’s how you “know who you are”.

Oh my gosh. I actually found the cover I was hoping to find. This song has always been a favorite. But since losing my dad in September, the lyrics have a whole new meaning. Losing him and wanting him back, the insane rollercoaster of grief makes it feel like no one around me understands. I grew up in St George, we went to Snow Canyon for family hikes almost every Sunday. When I saw it in the background I knew I had to listen. This cover is perfection and I feel like I was meant to see it. Thank you, thank you ❤️

What really is phenomenal is the work of the person doing the video taping.

I truly believe Jada is one of the rare singers whose voice is so ethereal, it floats. Rarely do I hear a vocal so delicate and fragile, it seems to want to float away and leave this mortal coil of its own volition. But underneath the delicacy is a tense, steely strength, flinty, determined. The vocals are delicate but the lyrics and musical underpinnings are so ugly, raw, messy, uncomfortable. This juxtaposition of the delicate with the ugly is what makes the song work. And it's a winner.

I've just rediscovered this song with your voice. It feels so much better than the original. You just made my day.
