honestly, the process is borderline perfect. Only thing I'd suggest isn't about the process, rather how to give the piece that little extra bit to set it over the top. Get a super bright blue LED and set it into the resin so the main section glows and mount a wide angle LED under the smaller resin cast towards the base. Then going the whole piece with some weathering techniques. Otherwise, the outcome is phenomenal, keep up the great work!

@ugsoldun7871Рік тому
seriously impressive. I'm not only talking about the build but the video as well, so pls stop saying sorry for this, that n everything. you did good. you singlehandedly took on a build you knew to be seriously complex, using methods you weren't fully conversant with, and produced not one but 5 separate items (including your rig) whilst recording important steps (all of which took place in areas of limited space) and then edited the lot into 2 vids. n why did you do it? to try n help others learn the how's n what not to do's of building your own cosplay creations. What's not to be proud of? you did REAL good

Amazed at all the hard work you have put into this 👍. Have you used Expandable builders foam? It can be squirted into any mould you create & then be filed or cut once cured. Another builders product is Cellotex which comes in sheets & can be modeled. With the expanding foam you could run tiny wires through it before its cures for either LED's or led strip. Leds could be mounted behind the glass pebbles that you have for added effect. Nice to see someone that gifted & intelligent on you tube. Take care.

Hi 😊 I was wondering, in your tutorial you said that you'd release the 3D files for the Nouliths at one point and I just wanted to ask if that was still something you're planning on doing. Of course, if you've changed your mind and no longer feel comfortable uploading the files, that is completely valid and fine! I'm sure a lot of people (me included) would also be willing to pay money for the files if you'd rather offer them through a store or something like that. I hope I'm not overstepping by asking, I just really love the work you did on these! :)

I like to watch various tutorials for making props, unfortunately I haven't made many because of laziness and the fact that it's more difficult and expensive to find some of the tools/ingredients to build them. But I have made a few based on some of the tutorials so I will tell you what helped my and might be helpful in my opinion. First was as you said the framing but since you mentioned it yourself I really believe that you got this covered. Secondly I would suggest slowing a little bit your video in your editing. You don't have to keep it in real time obviously but there were times (i.e. in 2:50 I couldn't actually make out what were you doing because your hands were moving so fast) Third and last actually, since there is some assembly to the whole set I think it would be somewhat helpful to show how to put it together. You showed how to take it off, which is equally important so why not show the construction itself? Anyway, these are a few tips from someone who actually has zero experience making props compared to you but has some experience following tutorials so I have learned a little bit which tutorials are better than others. But, again, these are my opinions and not hard facts. What worked for me might not work for someone else or vice versa. In any case, keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your tutorials in the future and that you don't stop at this one
