Very engaging and a bit different from other documentaries.

I'm a hunter. I have never seen one of these things, but having grown up not far from Whitehall NY and knowing a few who have, and in combination with having had my own unexplainable experiences in those forests, I tend to believe that it could exist. Having made that clear I don't get the th thought process behind a hunter with a deer rifle gets that his gun isn't big enough. Hunters take moose and elk down every year. Many with bow and arrow. Sam colts original .44 black powder revolver was adopted by the calvary specifically because the round could enter the side of a war horse and penitrate its heart. It was the most powerful handgun made until the .357 was designed. Granted those are both examples of high powered weapons, but I assure you that your standard .30-30 which is a very common mid caliber rife used to hunt deer can and will penitrate just as deep. Even a .223 which is basically a supersonic .22 caliber rifle can shoot through and through a man. Perhaps it's not the weapon these people doubt. Perhaps during a sighting a hunter is struck by such fear that they doubt their own ability.

Only reason that man trigged me Lmaoo. Is because I have seen one in my younger years in northern Ontario at my grandparents trailer they had at the time. I was on the trails in the woods just down from the trailer and on my son, I seen a massive absolutely massive beast of a being walking through the brush like 20 feet away from me. I have never ran so fast in my life.

With a walk like that you’ll definitely find answers. I can’t even track down a Bigfoot ice cream. It was in the shape of a foot. You could get them anywhere in the 70s now I can’t even find a fuzzy picture they are so elusive.

Some say Bigfoot has a cloaking ability. Kind of like the Predator. They become invisible in a sense.

The funny thing is that the movie The Legend Of Boggy Creek was directed by Charles B Pierce...the very same director that directed the infamous horror cult movie The Town That Dreaded Sundown..both movies claim to be a true story ...however fabricated facts were done in the Sundown so much so that Charles was sued by one of the victims sister for false depiction. The narrator of both films was Vern Stierman. The phantom in Sundown became a stunt man for movies such as Forrest Gump and Cast Away and Inglorious Basterds. Boggy Creek cost $100k and made $25 million...The Town That Dreaded Sundown cost $400k and made only $5 million . Point being...they were just Hollywood movies that exaggerated facts. No wonder people think BigFoot is a hoax.

Look people I became interested in bigfoot when this gentleman did so yes I've seen one sasquatch clearly and i heard them moan,chatter&growl in North Florida. I've seen many foot prints & smell them in the night. So they are apex survivors & they are real. I bought the Patterson& gimlan paper back book at a book fair in elementary school. My best advice is to treat them like a bear. I've had scary interactions with one so do not interact, just let them watch you because they are😉 . everything the sasquatch do is for their survival because they are loosing their habitat and they are fully aware of this& that is why they try to scare us out of the woods & they don't kill us because they know their would be massive bigfoot hunts, remember apex survivors. They are smarter than you think when it comes to survival & that is why they are so allusive.

The reason the Patterson film is still the best ? How about the flat out bans on taking and using any video film or photos in reserves, parks, forestry and places of natural beauty etc . As much as they can the governments won't let you, nobody think that's kind of strange. Also the penalties are severe so people that have footage just keep it to themselves. It's not just the fines, even park rangers have been threatened to shut up . 2 Rangers who hit and killed one, had the body in back of their vehicle ! There boss said someone was coming to speak to them. 2 suits show up take em for a drive to the scene and impress on them they hit a bear. They were told anything otherwise would endanger their pensions, their jobs and more. So just a snippet of the consequences of having indisputable film, or a body for that matter . Oh and the body from above disappeared . Years later one Ranger looked for the accident report for hitting a 'bear' , no file existed .

Ok so here is what people don't seem to understand about Sasquatch. He doesn't want to be found. Its very easy to not be found if you don't want to be found. Look at that Japanese solder that his out on a Philippine island for almost 30 years after the end of Work War 2. That guys though mt the war was still going and they never did find him. He gave himslf up. So if a sentient being doesn't want to be found, in the forests of north America , well then you're going to have a lot of trouble finding them. Why does Sasquatch stay so elusive? Good question. Maybe it realizes that human man is nothing but trouble, and knows that if its species is cought, then that will be the end of their species. Remember, Sasquatch are just as smart, if not smarter than humans. Just in different ways. Maybe Sasquatch saw the plight of the American Indians and didnt want to turn out like them. Maybe when the Spanish first came to the America so so many years ago, and introduces things like small pox, maybe the disease wiped out a good share of the Sasquatch population back then. Maybe they still think that man will give them disease. Maybe they think we are the filthy animals and they want nothing to do with us. I think they know we are a serious danger to them, and they want to stay as far away from us as possible. Easier said than done with all the deforestation and population growth going on in the world today. Oh and to the guy that said its been millions of years since primates were in this part of the world? North America? Humans are primates. I think Sasquatch are as close to ape as humans are.
