Please tell me this is a clickbait SEO title. Posting this before watching. I didn't see him more than 2 or 3 gms, but his stats last season he were fucking great. 80 yds and seven catches a game with a rock solid 66.7% catch percentage while being targeted more than ten times a game.

My guy, these breakdowns are amazing. For the first time I really feel like I am learning how to look at these plays. I'll admit I have had a hard time really understanding how football works (mostly a baseball guy) and most of what I really know about reading defenses I've had to learn from Madden Practice mode. These breakdowns are great education. The pacing and information you choose to highlight is perfect.

All I'm saying is last year, Hopkins was still on pace to be 6th in the league in receiving yards had he played a full 17 games, and that's with backup and 3rd string QBs for half the time. Man can still produce at an elite level, mainly because his catch radius is still the largest in the league other than maybe Justin Jefferson

D hop can be what Larry was in Arizona prolonging his career after he moved to the slot. Do that in Tennessee and get him the ball he can still be productive even if it doesn’t look the same.

not a bad idea. specially w henry loading up the box and forcing defenses to play an extra lb or a bigger but slower CB or safety hybrid in the slot. dhop would explode those matchups.

I’m honestly excited for d hop this season bc I think a lot of him signing with the titans is a result of him liking how they were gonna use him and utilize his skill set and how comfortable he felt in that offense. If you’re a shorter WR, the main thing you have going for you is that lightning fast speed when accelerating which allows you to blow by most defenders to get nice and open. Being shorter means the QB has a smaller window to fit the throw in to you, but with the blow by acceleration, it’s not that big of an issue. The first thing to go with age though is that speed. Once you no longer have that blow by acceleration speed as a shorter wideout, your production typically drops off dramatically regardless of what offense/system you are put in.

In my auction draft, I had to settle for Hopkins as my third receiver. I got Herbert, Ekeler, Etienne, Lamb, Devonta Smith, Darren Waller and then Kenneth Walker as my third RB. I was happy to get Hopkins with my 8th highest bid, but I'm still a little uneasy. This video gave me a little peace of mind, sounds like if he stays healthy he could easily give a 75 catch, 6 td season and in full PPR thats good enough as a secondary flex option. In fact, I also have javonte williams and Brandon Aiyuk for good measure so Im feeling optimistic at least.
