Bangladesh, the Philippines and Thailand aren't even the biggest carbon emitters in the world, but we are the most affected by the global warming. these rich countries always saying "we need to cut down carbon emissions and use green energy asap" aren't even doing anything because they are all in the comfort of their homes with air conditioning powered by fossil fuels. Well, that's actually not true. Those countries Are cutting down on carbon emissions and Are using more and more green energy. I'm from Western Europe. I'm wearing 4 layers of clothes to keep me warm. Then I use 2 blankets on top of me to also keep me warm. Next to me is a warm-water bottle to really keep me warm. We only heat the living room anyway. Which basically means it's cold inside. I buy as little as possible, donate to charity shops what I don't need, don't follow fashion trends (my coat is 15 years old). I don't have AC. There are many like me.

It's not only the heat temperature itself. It's also a humidity. If the temperature is high and the humidity is also high than the body try to sweat more but can't cool itself down and this is /can be a danger to the health and body.
@headofmyself5663
@headofmyself5663 10 днів тому
In the face of global warming, it's crucial to consider new methods to mitigate the health risks caused by rising temperatures. Enter the Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT), a measure of heat stress that takes into account not only temperature but also humidity, wind speed, and solar radiation. By communicating WBGT, meteorological agencies can provide a comprehensive understanding of heat stress conditions. This empowers the public to make informed decisions to protect their health, especially for outdoor workers, athletes, and vulnerable populations. With climate change causing more extreme weather events, incorporating WBGT into forecasts is an important step toward safeguarding communities from heat-related illnesses. Greetings from Germany

The El Niño weather pattern is greatly contributing the warmer weather patterns from last year and this year.
