Nailed it. Good timing, slick editing, and feels classic but not cliche:) Impressive acting too, felt subtle and natural. The ghost was 🤌🏼

I liked that the movie startet with something mundane as taking out the garbage. The music unfortunately doesn't support that, it suggests that something is off, but he is not worried at all. I also liked that she is lurking in the background. Those blink an you'll miss it scenes without any audio cue are great! I didn't like that he closed the door and the camera stayed a bit too long on the door, and after that he doesn't recognize that the door was open when it should be shut. I think is is generally a good idea when the character and the audience are on the same page. The transition when she shoves his face on the stove and he wakes up in bed is awesome! The real horror though is that he didn't wash his hands after bringing out the trash. 😁 And my biggest problem, both should have jumped into the air and then freeze frame!

One of the most fun things about horror films is the audience knowing more than the characters, it makes the tension that much higher, because you see the danger they can’t see! I think you drew just enough attention to it;)

@@ani_mcall Correction. I thought about the scene where he doesn't notice that the door is open when it should be shut and my issue is not that the audience knows more than him. The problem is that he seems to be stupid for not noticing. He is not under pressure or anything so he should absolutely notice, but you can make this work by scaring him with a strange sound or something, he would hurry inside and not notice the open door, because his attention is on something else. It might not solve the character-beeing-stupid-issue completely, but a diversion would make him not noticing more believable.

I like how this was filmed, everyday touched with supernatural. The sound effect music for the first 3 minutes was a bit distracting, when it ended it was better...the focus went back to the film. Is it just me, or did the ghost 'take on' a more normal face the second time we see it? It looked demonic at first. Eerie work! EDIT: I really like the subtle, pulsing music during the credits!

That was how the ghost looked the whole time, the lighting just made her look more demonic in previous shots. I do agree that the music was slightly distracting but the way I think about it, it diverts your attention away from the ghost. I challenge you to watch it again very closely and see how many time the ghost shows up in the background of random shots, because it may be more than you initially noticed. I must agree. That background music was like listening to a heart-monitor. That sort of 'sound' should really be reserved for the scenes where the Baddie is literally about to appear to the man?
