I don't know who. However, if a person desires to pay attention to this, you have to stop relying on the government and saving all of your money . Venture into making an investment a few in case you actually need monetary freedom. Talking from experience. All my life I have never earned up to $500k but only an investment have made me this money in 1 year

The current system is completely unsustainable. The only reason it continues 'as if' is lending and debt. Lending for healthcare, for homes, for education, and plain old credit cards. trouble is, when the bottom falls out, the lenders get bailed out and consolidated, and everyone else loses their shirt.

It is a government inspired crisis this time. The Treasury have to sell Bonds to cover the trade imbalance and the government spending imbalance. In order to sell them they have to raise interest rates and the old long-term, low risk, low interest, AAA investments (including Treasury Bonds), held by the banks (often due to government regulatory policy), become next to worthless. The next milestone is the 15th when the government issue a new batch of Bonds. I have approximately 350k stagnant in my portfolio that needs growth. What is the best way to take advantage of this downturn?

Remember your History In the early 1960’s the US installed ICBM’s in Turkey pointed at the Soviet Union, a direct unprovoked threat to the Soviets. In response, the Soviet Union installed mobile ICBM batteries on Cuba, 90 miles from the US coastline. John Kennedy sent in recon over flights of Cuba and one of our jets was downed by a Soviet Ground to Air missile killing the US Air Force pilot. The US upped the ante by setting up a naval blockade of the Cuban coastline as further mobile Soviet ICBM’s were in route to Cuba. Kennedy gave Kruschev an ultimatum that the missiles in Cuba were to be removed or we would remove them and sink the Soviet freighters approaching Cuba. The Cuban Missile Crisis had the world on the brink of a nuclear war for a couple of weeks. The Soviets removed their weapons from Cuba and the US agreed never to invade Cuba. A few months later the US quietly removed its ICBM’s from Turkey. A global nuclear annihilation was averted. Have we learned nothing? The Monroe Doctrine was a good way of protecting the US and surrounding territories from foreign aggression. Fast forward 60 years, we have encroached on Russia despite our assurances that we would not. Now we have funded a western sympathetic Ukrainian regime and through our military industrial complex started a proxy war with Russia in Ukraine. The US, in a terrorist attack, has destroyed Russian natural gas pipelines, a direct act of War against Russia. The Russians have their own “Monroe Doctrine” and are not going to allow this unprovoked aggression from NATO and the US on their borders. We have been warned by Putin to cease this encroachment and we have ignored him. We are now again on the cusp of a global nuclear war. Our politicians seem to think they have the upper hand and can win. The US is beating the drums of war in the outlets major news media, in the halls of the Pentagon and in the White House and Congress. Diplomacy has been overlooked and the thought of a “Peaceful” resolution is nowhere to be found. Can our leaders not understand that: “Nobody wins a thermonuclear war?”
