Great video! It's a great card for the price. I love mine. As for Raytracing, I posted a video myself on youtube recently proving with 8 games maxed RT 1440P it runs great! RT works fine on 7000 series. More than fine.

I got a brand new gaming pc a week ago. Wanted to get a 4070 TI initially but after much research felt that 7900xt was a better option and it synergized well with my AMD 7 7700x CPU. After a week of playing starfield, Warhammer 3 and cyberpunk i love the 7900xt. It definitely delivers. Also agree that 20gb of VRAM is much better than 12gb of VRAM which the 4070 ti provides .

Also nvidia makes dlss 3, that used in 40 series card obsolete after 50 series and dlss 4 coming out. Nvidia wants you buy every new gpu.

I would like you to test, if it's possible, Red Dead Redemption 2 (in Valentine or Saint Denis), Battlefield 2042, Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War (I know I know, a COD, but it's kind of stuttery and it intrigues me to know if it benchmarks okay in multiplayer) and Fallout 4 (maybe in the center of the map because it's known to be really demanding with all the assets and things to load). If its possible, in 1440p and 2160p. If not, 1440p its fine Thanks againg for replying!

Thank you for this video Sir, I saved all year for sapphire 7800 nitro but sent it back hoping for better deals this fall. I thought the 7900 Nitro would come down in price, relative to all gpu’s in the category, but it hasn’t budged. Looking like I will opt for this version you reviewed in this video. I received the Starfield game with my 7900XT, maybe you didn't try hard enough, although I am not in India. This card overclocks well for even more performance but does pull like 360W at times. Cooling this has been no problem at all with a well ventilated case. My 3DMARK timespy results are double yours, Overall: 23256; Graphics: 28130; CPU 11736. This is on an AM4 setup like yours but with a Ryzen 5800X3D. Great card, enjoy!

I purchased online so the box I picked didn't have any game included. My 3d mark score might be time spy extreme and not normal time spy.

You made the right choice the 4070ti is about the same as a 3080 tbh not much extra perf going to a 4070ti but a 7900xt is a big boost in perf

Do you believe this setup can last 6 or 7 years, taking into account HYPR-RX and the upcoming FSR 3 (besides the fact that AMD GPUs tend to have the "fine wine" effect)? I'm focusing on 1440p ultrawide and I want to know if it will be as durable as I think. I live in a country where things are quite expensive and it's a big economic expenditure but I know it's worth it. I know that in the future I will have to change the CPU to make things more balanced but I dont know.

I purchased the card in India for USD 1030, I already had a Ryzen 7 5800x and a 2070 Super, as I use a 4k monitor also wanted a card that can render natively at 4k. 1440p most users suggest a 7800xt instead of a 7700xt for 1440p gaming. My 2070 lasted me three years and it still works flawlessly. It's just replaced the gtx 1060 in my son's system 😁

Yep I'm gonna hope my microcenter has this 7900xt on sale for black Friday and swap out my 3080 it's big bang for the buck and only like 10mm longer the xtx is anyway and will perform amazingly well in my racing sims I don't use RTX anyway I just want that rasterization performance anyway and I got a ryzen CPU to that's newish and should give me all those and benefits I'm looking forward to it tbh

It's a great card, every game at 4K runs smooth above 60fps. And the Sapphire Pulse 7900xt I picked up is the cheapest compared to other brands. 😁

Video after a long time . . . Nice video 😊 I have one question, why did you go with AMD, and not with NVIDIA?? Because of the price to performance ratio? And I have read at many places that AMD has definitely more RAW performance but as its not optimised well with the softwares, specially with professional softwares, the output is not that good. . . So is it true? The gaming performance looks really impressive, even at 4K native the frame rates are good, I think now you should get a gaming monitor 😁

😁, yes a gaming monitor is on the cards. I wanted to try out AMD GPUs so went with it. The 7900xt is supposed to have performance between a 4070 ti and a 4080 hitting 4080 levels at times. 4080's are prohibitively expensive. The 7900xt looked to be an all round card, not too interested in raytracing but if the feature is available fine. Premiere does work well, but Cuda acceleration would be missing in applications like blender.
