There's different size window pieces to hold the hose and block the rest of the window from heat and bugs coming in. Or you can make your own by getting a foam block, cutting a hold for the hose to fit in and cutting the block to size for the window and then just put it in place and shut the window on it to hold it and if there are any small gaps and/or you feel it's not quite secure enough, you can just use some tape on the edges. But you definitely want to block the rest of that window space that's open to keep the heat out, especially because there's a lot of extra heat there from the exhaust of the AC hose. It will make it much more efficient and cooler. Also, insulated window coverings help a lot to keep the heat out and cool in and you can easily make those yourself as well with some reflectics and fabric of your choosing to match your space! 😊

I bet you could find some dryer exhaust that you could slide the hose off and on kinda like a doggy door stop. That would be a great option for the hoses. It would be possible for another hole or two so it’s portable

I don't like the hose out the window, due to bugs and anything that might come in your bus. What about drilling two holes at different places in the bus for it. Then you can use it without windows, still portable, then put caps on the holes on the outside when not in use or do you have to use the hose for heating too? Then you can still use all year without dealing with elements. Just idea
