I think you're misinterpreting Islam. You have to understand that the title of "Champion" holds so much weight to him. So when he acknowledges Volk as a Champion; that's Islam acknowledging that Volk is dangerous. He even said that he knows that Volk wont give up. Acknowledged that he's a pound for pound great. Remember that Khabib wasn't happy with Islams performance last time. And Khabib played a massive part in the training camp this time. So Islam knows, either through his own respect for Volks ability, or because he respects Khabibs opinion enough to take what Khabib says to heart. That said, this fight is still impossible to call. I'm pulling for Islam, but I 100% believe that Volk could get a win. Both men are too good for one to not have a chance.
