I don’t know exactly what the meaning of this song and video is but to me this is about the way we perceive ourselves within our families. How the bad traits we inherit from an abusive family member make us see ourselves as monsters. When a person causes so much hurt in the family and we see them as evil, but then we start growing up and exhibit similar traits so we think we are the evil we used to hate. Just my take! Super dope video Edit: didn't think people would want to read this at first so let me elaborate! At the end he takes off the fake horns meaning that he isn't truly a demon, but this label has been put on him by either himself, society, or his family (or all 3). Everyone has obviously fake props and I think Issam has the budget for something more real looking. I think it was purposeful to show that he isn't talking about being literally god or a demon. All of these are just his way of looking at people in his life as a child. The abuse is referenced in "Koulli drabi mghatti l3eyb b Jean Prada" The dad playing cards possibly gambling. He doesn't mention him at all but he has pointy ears in the video. He might not see him like a good figure. He talks about wanting to protect his mother. Not sure about this one since I don't know if he's saying : 3issam enfant jjin cheft frou7i chitan dangereux But he might be saying 3issam au fond ? The verse of "9albi ba9i dafi t9ayit fkourssi dangel" sounds very innocent and childish. We often use 9albi dafi for children not adults (not sure about this one either) Hope this makes sense and helps you understand my perspective more (I could be totally wrong since I'm not in the artists mind)
