I NEVER use the rustic ice skating rink from the Sims 4 Seasons Expansion Pack because it's sooo big. I also see them randomly placed around but I never go to them. haha. So I figured I'd add one to a lot. I got a little creative and decided to add the rustic ice skating rink on top of a roof.
My sims really enjoyed skating around and eventually learned to perform routines and tricks. super cool.

I see them around neighborhoods and I look at them, I think about them, I hover my mouse over them, but I always end up doing something else 😅 but you putting it on top of the house was funny. I guess it could go in the basement as well.

not sure if it can fit in the basement tho but I might try it! when I want to add a bowling lane to a mansion, i usually add those in the basement. the rinks are pretty cool. you can play music, set different effects and lighting effects.

@@Nardvillain I do sometimes! I just started a legacy challenge for the first time and made my first Sim a comedian. She's going on tour to all the lounges/nightclubs in every world I have. So sometimes, I'll have her do karaoke or enter a talent show. It's been a lot of fun exploring that aspect of the game, I had never really given it a good playthrough before.

I would always add them to parks in worlds instead of my own lots and add stands that sell hot chocolate and coffee. It’s just a super cool way for your sim family to spend Christmas Day at or during the winter

i like yo make actual rinks with them. i made a roller rink and set it to a park lot (put required items in unreachable basement) so my sims were able to go on a date to the roller rink :)

I always add a roller or ice rink lot to newcrest, it’s been fun having sims go there and they have a bunch of great ones on the gallery

@@Nardvillain if you put a small or medium sized house on a larger lot then you’ll have quite a big backyard. It’s perfect for backyard weddings, parties, and in this case a ice skate rink! 😊 Hope this helped!

be careful putting one of these on your lots... i noticed my sims tend to be drawn to it like crack. you know how you cant keep them away from a computer? same thing... i had a sim i wasnt paying attention too as i had like 60 sims in one household and it was utter chaos, and that sim DIED because they kept getting up and going skating randomly in the middle of sleepytime... exhaustion got her

@@Nardvillain keep in mind, i was cheating my a** off, hence 60 sims in one house, but yea... i had like 25 on that thing skating at once... beyond the dying, its pretty comical to pack that many in one house and watch the chaos insue. my computer hated it and it took my game 10 minutes to load, save or anything, but it was fun to see them act coocoo

That would be so awesome. It could even be rabbit but allow other sims to visit competitions and stuff, similar to how sims can go to soccer games (discover uni)

I have a plot on one of my save files of an ice skating rink. When it becomes warmer seasons I change it to roller skating and decorate it all summery 😁
