I’m a huge Mac fan always will be… back in 2014 a close friend of mine knew Mac’s end would come sooner than later.. he wasn’t one of us he was sent here to show us things… as far as Mac’s team and the people around him… they were some shitty people TreeJ being the worst but links theory doesn’t sound impossible it sounds a lot like what happened with LaLaLa and not crediting the producer of the beat Mac was strategic and the people around him were not the type to do the right thing

Addiction is a DISEASE bro. And it's a very hard one to come back from. I know from personal experience being addicted to opiates more than half my life. It's extremely hard to get people out of that. And it's even harder to convince someone to seek help when other parts of their lives are still functioning or even highly successful. Then there's the anxiety/depression that are often present as well and that makes it even harder to treat the addiction. If people with all the money in the world can't do it, then clearly we're still struggling to find the best ways to deal with this issue. Maybe preventable, but far less so than you might think. Sadly, there's a reason most addicts don't make it. It's a vicious, dangerous, and INSIDIOUS disease that I don't wish on anyone.

Look as a fan of rap Mac was the one that made rap more than just lyrics and flow. He was one of the greatest at making music and me and my bro listen to him and love him despite both our clear differences in taste of music. Goldlink was trying to express his complicated friendship with Mac Miller, feeling like he copied his style, but not letting that get in the way of there friendship, but Macs fans were to immature to understand. They took it as a jab at a dead man instead of a realistic portrayal of one grown mans experience with another grown man. Why is it so hard to believe that one artist could have stole another's style, it happens all the time. That post wasn't disrespectful to me, it was real, and vulnerable. Other artist post way more wild things on the internet and still get a pass, Kanye does it at least once a month lol. Goldlinks story to me is more so a cautionary tale of how fake the music industry is and how your livelihood is basically ran by children on the internet and if you don't say the right things all the time, every thing you worked hard for can be stripped away from you in the blink of an eye.
