Been w Cole since the Come Up and have seen him progress as a human and an artist. & at the beginning of this performance, I was thinking “Woah, Cole back in his bag” wondering if he’d begun to lose himself in the fame, again. And at 8:00 he proved to not be. So deep into his performance of the verse he checks himself. Those words mean so much to him. Following 2014 and during 4YEO he seemed to be becoming very enlightened, even on KOD he advocates meditation. He sees past the smoke and mirrors of material success. 🐐
