This is lesson 2 video tutorial on XBee basics. In this video I show you how to make a simple chat program between two XBees in AT mode.
Reuploading this because the old one got messed up. The old one was at 213,973 downloads when I replaced it with this one.

I remember watching these videos for my xbee project and it was at the time by far the best tutorial. Cant believe the guy with bug eyed glasses is now Jack Rhysider. Big fan of the podcast! 10 years can change a lot kinda gives me more motivation. Great job Mr. Jack.

Bro I have a Linux laptop sitting doing nothing and I desperately want windows on it .But computing was way way over my head I used a bit wood with a thing called a rubber on top .this used to be pushed on to white paper to give you a result that you’re teacher cld then deduct from that how clever you where .And now it’s a black slab off metal in u hand and invisibility the teacher listens to it then gives you a mark on it .

Is the incoming data separated by sessions or if many devices sends to one blends every incoming data?

Hi, I want to ask in AT mode, data can only be sent from router to coordinator, but cannot sent from coordinator to router?

where is the RX and TX on the xbee? Do I need to buy the seperate board in enable to use RX and TX or can I just use RX and TX from my arduino and hook it up to for example D4 and D5 on the xbee?

Hello Sir, I want to build build a network having 2 routers and a coordinator. All Xbee modules are in AT mode and connected with Arduino boards. And the problem is that the coordinator just received data from 1 Xbee router. May you give me some tips to deal with that problem. I hope you can read my comment and give me some tips. Thank you so much.

The first example worked fine but when using example 2 of this through the Arduino's the coordinator serial monitor would only report ?'s. While the router serial monitor was sending Hello World!. All the parameters for both the Router and Coordinator were correct reviewed it several times time not sure why the coordinator was not reporting the same Hello World it was being sent by the router.
