I’m not even on my account, I’m typing via a family members account and will come back on mine but I had too comment, that vacuum looks totally awesome, like my jaw was on the floor and I could only imagine how expensive that was. Keep on making these videos, I have a new appreciation for these little robots!
@RoboVacParty
@RoboVacParty 10 місяців тому
That was very, very, very, very....very expensive when it appeared on the market back in 2005. Just like Electrolux Trilobite. Still pretty impressive robovac even in 2023. They both have sentimental meaning for me. I remember when I was a kid/teenager and I saw them for the first time in some tech magazines I wanted them so badly! 😪🤗

@@RoboVacParty ahh 2005. the high point in autonomous consumer electronics. Unfortunately the gooberment realized what great war machines they could build with such tech and banned most of it from the consumer marketplace. THANKS CPSC! lmao. ugh. But at least we got the Ukraine war for it... :/

Hi! Did you set the water hardness settings? In the manual of the dishwasher it says to press and hold the Start/Pause button for 5 seconds and then a H1 H2 etc menu for water hardness appears. When I press the Start Pause button for 5 seconds it starts the program directly, water hardness menu does not appear
@RoboVacParty
@RoboVacParty 7 місяців тому
Yes, I have tried the same sequence (as manual describes) and the same happens to me!
@RoboVacParty
@RoboVacParty 7 місяців тому
Ok, I have made some tests and...it appears there is an error in the manual. You have to press and hold "P" (programm) button for 5 seconds until it shows 'H3' etc. ..not the 'Start/Pause'.
@andreisevastre3659
@andreisevastre3659 7 місяців тому
@@RoboVacParty hi man, thank you so much for this information - it worked! Now after 2 weeks of using the dishwasher there is no "salt replacing lamp" symbol, for when to replace the salt in the salt container. I only filled the container with salt and water 2 weeks ago before the first wash and now if I open it, it's still full with water. DO you have any idea about this/how the salt replacing lamp should look? Do you also experienced the same?
@RoboVacParty
@RoboVacParty 5 місяців тому
The "salt replacing lamp" should be lit only when there is no salt in the salt container. When it's full the salt indicator goes off. The salt container should be full of water and that's normal. You shouldn't open it unless the salt indicator goes on again. In my case it only turned on twice during the last year of use.

They were in their age, 2000's. It has dirt sensors (infrared), so depend on amount it drive in one of 3 methodes: slowing down (small amount of concentrated dirt), slow down, moves back and forth (large amount of concentrated dirt) and moving in star like pattern (big amount of dirt). So even more sophisticated than nowadays robot vacuums with piezo/optical dirt sensors.

Yes, this model was introduced in 2003, so 20 years ago and was available until early 2010's, I think (RC4000 re-edition). It cost fortune then, I remember I was teenager and it was on my dream-list then...

Around 1 hour on single charge, but then it recharges and resume. It can vacuum for 3, 6, 9 hours or permanent. It depends on selected cycle on the base station.
