I understand the importance of enjoying a moment at the time, but I think it's important to consider that maybe this song means so much to those younger people, that they would like a video so they can treasure it forever. I like to take videos when watching live music, not the entire time, because I do value the moment of being there, but it's nice to be able to look back at it years later when maybe the memory is a bit blurred, and you can experience it all over again.

That always amazes me. Maybe it's because I'm a little older and cellphones weren't around during my childhood but watching a performance like this my phone never even crosses my mind. Sometimes later I'll think "Wow, I wish I had recorded that" but in the end I'm glad I didn't.
