I'm Italian, I was 6 in 1971 and I remember very few things. One is the match of the soccer world cup Italy - Brazil, played the previous year, with Pele on the pitch. Another is this fantastic performance. You must know that, in those years, the audience on TV could not move, they could not get up, they could only applaud on command. Then came James Brown.

Paula´s Universe, agree to that. The dancer is Elza Soares, a Brazilian superstar, icon, singer and songwriter "Queen of Samba". So she was not a go go dancer at all. In this video she is 40 yo and a mother of four... Google her and there is a lot about her life and what happened to her. She was awarded "Singer of the Millenium" by BBC. For many yeras she was married to fotboll star Garrincha and they lived in Rome 1970 to 1971 something. So that i maybee an explaination why she is on this TV show. That was indeed very unexpected and a big surprise. She was globally a bigger star than JB himself, but funny thing is that I guess not many people in that TV show, or seeing this video, has any idea about that.

👍🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹❤❤❤❤❤❤

Who was that sexy dancer?
@stennordenmalm17352 роки тому
@@NavarinoDC She is Elza Soares, "Queen of Samba" a Brazilian icon, singer and a mother of 8 (in this clip she is 40 yo and has four children...) She has been rewarded "Singer of the Century" by BBC. She died just a month ago at 91 yo. The mayor of Rio de Janerio proclamed three days of sorrow. For many years she was married to fotboll star Garrincha. In Brazil, and other latino countries, she was as big of a star you can be. She did everything 100 % her entire life.
