His whole game in Houston was beating you off the dribble and driving into the paint getting easy Layups/ fts/ or lobs. Then using that to make more separation on the step back. If players aren’t worried about you driving then the stepback won’t create much separation. That’s why James isn’t playing like he was in Houston.
