@@Terror832 The run game is no longer a staple it's an accessory. Most NFL teams are pass first now. The Fullback doesn't even exist anymore. Even O linemen are expected to be running down the field on screens and draws.
@WhoopityDoo
@WhoopityDoo 2 роки тому
@@AirEmOut Nobody is a "feared hitter" any longer because most of those hits draw penalties. The NFL is scared to death of the ramifications of CTE (future lawsuits that would probably bankrupt them, considering what they knew about it even 15 years ago) and has changed the rulebook over the years to reflect that. On top of that, most of these so called "feared hitters" you're referring to were usually just pieces of shat that constantly took cheap shots to the head, including the subject of this video.
@AirEmOut
@AirEmOut 2 роки тому
@@WhoopityDoo I understand the first paragraph and totally disagree with the second paragraph. Ed Reed, Troy Polamalu, Ray Lewis even James Harrison weren't pieces of crap they just played the game violent as it was probably coached to them. They played the game how it was played back then.

This is a man that always stayed unapologetically true to himself and never wavered from that vision. He knew he was still able to produce at that high level even when the Steelers gave up on him yet again, and they were the ones that had asked him to come out of his happy retirement. He goes to the Patriots and almost wins a third super bowl ring with them. His balance, functional core strength, leverage and tactical hand warfare were unmatched. The way he walks his life makes him a giant among men.

To hell with his incredibly talented play. James Harrison was the epitome of what happens when you combine the elements of: hard work, strong will, imagination. If our society needs a role model then it should start with James Harrison.

dudes a monster. one of my favorite players. Its why I love the Pittsburgh Baltimore rivalry so much - so many great defensive players on both sides. just makes it a great game to watch every year - three times if we are lucky enough to meet in the playoffs..

As they said he breaks the mold, as a Kansas City chiefs fan, plenty and out most respect. Didn’t like how he single handedly did to us in a few games but no one did it like Deebo. Lol. This definitely gave a different perspective of him. But he was the best that played his possession. Thanks James, you made nfl fun to watch , and every time steeler play KC , all I get say is ,oh boy.

It is a pleasure to hear him speak about himself. Those who don't know he doesn't speak to the press or like cameras in his face.

James Harrison was a different animal, he’s really an under appreciated linebacker in NFL history. He made his mark. Say what you want about him, he’s dirty, he’s a cheap shot, he’s a cheater, say whatever you want. He’s a Steelers and he’s here to make you feel the pain he came from. He’s very original, hardworking and just ruthless. You can’t take any of that away from him. He intercepted Kurt Warner and ran it back for 100+ yards in the Super Bowl, what else can I say.

I can only imagine if Harrison &Lloyd had played together. That would have been something. Definitely upheld tradition and could have played with the Steel Curtain of the 1970's. Jack Lambert went to Kent State as well.
