I am 80 years old and get a lot of scammers calling, I love when they call, so I can try out all my new humorous ideas on them , makes my day a lot of fun. Hope the dumb asses don't catch on.👵🏻. 😳

I love James Veitch, he's an inspiration for us all. I had an apartment scammer on the hooks for 2 weeks. I spent 45 minutes one day explaining how upset I was about a bad dream I had then segwayed into how he should invest into PotCoin (it's a real thing). It was great fun, my colleagues and boss were dying laughing every call I took, and best of all it was time this scammer wasn't spending with a gullible victim (usually an over-trusting elderly person). Sometimes I just yell at them using the worst language, and it's quite cathartic as well.

I once strung a phone scammer along for so long and got him so worked up that he cussed me out and demanded that I stop calling HIM. It was a proud moment in my life.

I once did this and said I was Capt, Jack Harkness of Torchwood in Cardiff Wales (former con man turned hero) and I gave them the number that the phone number on the episode of Doctor Who where all the phones in the world were calling the Doctor. They stopped emailing me after that.

I bet when James said that he replied with "I'm in", the spammer was like "Yes! I'm getting more money!" just unbeknown to the fact that James was probably sat there rubbing his hands together!

Solely due to the fact that the scammers end up saying "please stop emailing us" Because of that I'd say this one's his best video on trolling scammers.

Also noticed how he started off trying to move "1000 carats of polished diamonds" and then about three slides later they were "rough diamonds". Quite consistent.

I think the person behind the scam was just messing around as well, which makes it 100% funnier, because it’s just two people sitting there laughing at each other

I've seen this probably 10/15 times in the past 2 1/2 yrs and it still makes me laugh.

And there was a scammer in the audience faking his laughing and thinking "Don't ever call this guy".

Somewhere there is a huge stack of free tosters, and another stack of free kettles that people have sent this man.

I've kept the "Microsoft technical support desk" on the line for 45 minutes when they called me to fix the "horrible virus my computer was putting on the precious internet server", was actually surprised they stayed on hold for 15 mins when I said "someone is at the door" and went to make coffee. Of course they kept asking me to do things that would have produced screens of error messages if I had been running Windows. Since they were the expert they couldn't actually ask me what I was running :P . I am thinking I should set up an antique Windows 98 box, with maybe a folder saying "Client credit cards" on the screen and a set of fake card numbers with real police contact numbers, maybe padded out with a video, just so they have something to download through the 1200 baud serial port network connection.

He had them grinning through the whole talk. Something I never saw.

This is hilarious! I had a scammer call me, from his accent I presumed he was calling from India. I live in New Zealand, and I can do a pretty good Indian accent. I started off in my normal accent, when I realised it was a scammer I switched to an Indian accent, there was silence for a while, then he resumed his story, and I switched to an Italian accent, silence, then a little wary he started up again. I answered his questions with a German accent. He swore at me in Punjabi, I know swear words in Punjabi, I use to work in an Indian restaurant. Then he hung up. My wife asked, “who were you messing with?” I told her, she said, “thank goodness you didn’t let all your personalities loose on him.” I replied in a heavy Maori accent and she indignantly asked me to leave the room and stop being racist. My wife is Samoan and I’m Scot/Jew.

How you know you've won at scam emails: -Get them to call a bank (or any other official institution) who warns THEM to be careful about YOU -Get them to say "conditions would apply" to a contest/competition/etc. that you literally just made up -"PLEASE STOP EMAILING US"
