Before this gets deleted again, I just wanna talk about this weird attachment I have to this playlist. I listened to it around the start of 2020 and lockdown and honestly, the overwhelming vibes of the pure rythm in the songs was just immaculate, introducing me to so much wonderful music, it was genuinely a blessing. Despite how chaotic 2020 was, these songs somehow make me long for that year again and the memories with it.

I don't know if you'll ever read this but I just want to say that this playlist has gotten me through some really tough times since I first discovered it about a year or two ago. Everytime I listen again, the songs still give off that feeling of calm that I need. I've listened to many Japanese playlists and songs since then, but nothing just feels the same as this pink little video. I 100% agree with that other people are saying about this playlist. Everytime I listen to this, I'm brought back to when I would grind through my school and tutoring work late at night during the start of quarantine. While some people might not neccesarily want to be brought back to this period in our lives (myself included), this playlist gives me such an overwhelming feeling of peace and instantly puts me in the zone to get work done.

i listen to this while i learn japanese. hopefully one day ill be able to understand the words! might update this comment with my progress :) right now im learning hiragana! ive so far learn the k-s s-s and vowels, and am learning the t-s! Edit 1: had a bit of burnout, but im tryin to study a bit everyday! going over and revising hiragana before moving on to the ones i havent learnt yet Edit 2: ive learnt hiragana! on to katakana :D Edit 3: had to take a break because i was busy and didnt have the time but im back, doing hira reading practice and kata practice too Edit 4: as you may be able to tell from the above edits I have problems with burnout and stuff, and that combined with going back to school has made it very difficult to practice. I won't be updating this comment anymore, but I'm keeping it up cause there's a few tips in the replies for other learners. Hopefully one day I'll be able to come back and learn Japanese once and for all, but I just. Cannot right now.

I’m gonna be honest, I am one of those people that would gatekeep music so that I could feel unique. I don’t do it as much anymore but back when this playlist was first uploaded, it was definitely a problem I had😅. With a playlist such as this that gives off the perfect “main character” vibes, it frustrated me to know that other people also liked it as much as I did. But I am so grateful now because if this playlist hadn’t gotten the recognition it really deserved, it might have never been reuploaded after being taken down and we may have never been able to listen to it again. i'm so happy i clicked on this video. i listened to some of these songs on spotify on my drive to work. but things happened, my car broke down, didn't renew my spotify premium, and I resigned from my past job. time just went by and I forgot some of the titles to some of these. when I heard Telecaster Stripes I felt a bit of nostalgia and quite a relief that I found this playlist.
