Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.☕ • Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone , a few pens, paper or whatever you need.⌨️ •Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy 🐈 Reminder : After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. I've always wanted a playlist like this, there are a lot of the playlist out there that's supposed to improve your focus but those just give me a headache instead, this one however is different. I like to imagine someone telling a story to this music. Here is my idea of a story based on this: One time I had a dream. In the dream, i met the characters i loved. They werent strangers. It felt like I truly knew them. It took place in a small japanese town, and it took place at night, on a dimly lit lane, sort of like where the parents in Spirited Away become pigs, if that makes any sense. I felt happy. I felt like i was truly there, walking through the busy lane. I talked to those characters. Had meaningful conversations. Conversations that my brain... Wouldnt have thought of. Suddenly my alarm begun to blare. But i was still asleep. I could hear it in the dream. A white door appeared at the end of the lane. I walked towards it, knowing that this was the way out. All i could do was look back, as my friends pushed through the crowded lane. I tried to stop, but my legs couldnt stop. I walked through the door, and i fell. I hit the ground, then woke up. Sometimes, i wish i could see them again. But now, i feel as if i never dream.

You're sitting next to the window as the rain drops slide down, you've checked your notifications and seen the same 10 posts on your feed multiple time by now, staring at your tea as it's gone cold, thinking about your family, your new job, you know nobody in this entire town. you feel like you're the only person in here even though there are people around you chatting and giggling with their friends. Little to your knowledge, a girl has been observing you, noticing the blank depressed look you've had for the past hour. She comes over and asks if she can sit at this table. She says she came here by herself and thought you could use some company too. You both start talking about this city, you mention that you're new to Tokyo and have been here for about 3 weeks now. She notices the slight pauses and mispronunciations and wonders if you feel more comfortable talking in english since she knows as much english as you do japanese. She notices you still have that look on your face, she asks you if you're okay, as both of your eyes meet all of the doubts, struggles, stress and unanswered questions rush to your mind at once, you feel that lump in the back of your throat when you're about to cry, no one has asked you that in such a long time. you pull yourself together and catch yourself before tears start coming down, you don't want to make her feel sorry or embarrass yourself so you say you just have alot on your mind. You both continue talking for what feels like an entire night even though it's just been about 2 hours. You get to know each other, you both talk about your plans in life, you laugh, showing her pictures of your family and pet as she does the same. You can barely keep your eyes open at this point, it's almost 12 and the shops about to close. As you both walk out and open your umbrellas she asks you how far is your home from here. you tell her it's not really far at all, she wants to walk home with you which you think is odd because normally guys would ask a girl that instead. You both walk down the chilly streets, admiring the neon lights and funny mascot characters on the windows of the closed businesses, car horns honking from a far distance. You arrive at the door of your home and now it's time for you two to part ways, you both don't want this to be the last time so you exchange phone numbers. She says once finals are done this week she wants to show you around this place with her brother and group of friends, she describes them as such funny and interesting people. Before she walks away you thank her for everything tonight, she gives you such a warm and caring smile of appreciation, her face is full of such life and kindness. The last time you've seen a face like this was probably from a core memory of your childhood with your mother. She goes her way. You get ready for bed. You finally lay down in this semi empty bedroom since you still need to get more furniture. The rain picks up as the cool breeze from your cracked window makes you pull up the covers. you stare at the ceiling of your street light illuminated room thinking about her and the days to come. You think to yourself "Maybe this big leap i took in life was the right thing. Maybe it doesn't have to be so scary. I'm just so use to things not going right, I can't predict the future but that's okay, I'm gonna focus on this moment, this week, this new chapter of my life and enjoy the ride"
