This is one of the hardest songs to sing. I’ve watched Mariah sing this song live. Her live vocals aren’t that perfect either for this song.

SHE WOMAN SHOWED UP TONIGHT TO SAVE THE WOMEN! The only person that picked a song that worked with their vocal, arrangement on point, and had stellar stage presence. (I will say she needs to practice those runs a bit, but overall I’m sold).

This was the right approach to this song. She drastically simplified the intro, scaling back the almost impossible number of runs Mariah does to make it manageable and give herself time to settle in to the performance. One of the best covers of My All I have seen on a talent show.

I still can’t believe she’s the same person as last season! I always saw how good of a person she was even last season, but now she’s got the talent as well?! Like OMG her growth from then to now???? It’s just INCREDIBLE! She’s talented, humble, and beautiful! I’m wishing her the best honestly. She just seems like such a genuinely GOOD person and I hope America sees that! 👏👏

Hi Jayne, YOUR VOICE AND YOUR STAGE PRESENCE IS IMPRESSIVE! Not everyone is going to like all genres of music. Oh well. Grow tough skin and go ahead and achieve your goals. For how she simplified and dodged many of the difficult vocals, plus changing it to rock, she did well but vocally, this is nowhere close to the original from Mariah. Many of the runs were missed, let's start there...
