One of those times a revised take on the original canon is certainly an improvement. Although her fate was similar at the hands of the same foe it's great to know she got some much needed fleshing out. Thanks for the vid!

The Scoundrel's Cantina in Legends no. She died during Operation Nightfall when Vader lifted her and stabbed her through the heart like you showed in the cutscenes of the game. But no, Disney has to put their head up their butt and revive her. Like, Disney, we all hated that shrew in the prequels.

Personally, I think her dying in the Library is better. Her character was established in Episode II and she does not seem like someone who would survive. I’m not an EU fan, mainly because it complicates to universe too much. Order 66 was so impactful in the canon because there was only a handful of survivors (I.e. Obi-wan and Yoda). EU introduces a hundred other characters that survived which undermines the tragedy that was Order 66. Because of stories like Jocasta Nu’s and others in some random novel and comic makes it seem like Order 66 just killed the Jedi that weren’t named characters. EU material even directly contradicts what’s in the films - which are the undisputed truth in canon.

Jocasta Nu was an interesting jedi but is completely out of character in that comic, it must be disney's version. She wasn't that capable in terms of skill nor would act like that from beginning to the end. In legends her story ends during the jedi purge and i think it fits better. She never escaped and remained to guard jedi knowledge, but made sure that her student escape with some data.
