Jacob, The events will be held in wave pools built close to the coast or inland. They just completed the Shizunami Surf Stadium which is a Japanese wave pool built by the sea in Shizuoka equipped with American Wave Machines Technology. With wave pools Pro Surfing as well as Olympic Surfing will no longer need waiting periods for swells & weather conditions to align to complete an event.

Jordy I have watched you in your RELIGIOUSLY for over ten years. I also surfed in your line up in Cape Fear while on a Mission trip with Dr. Hein Van Wick and your free surfing and shaping experience is cleaner and crisper then in contents. You will win a World Title but just go back to loose tail, above the lip and back to being a Grom like the first wave of this video. Stop chasing scores and enjoy the cultures that the waves you experience push you. Free flow. Also, I have worked with Missions in Namibia and have yet to get to Donkey Bay. You will do well in Tahiti and pipe as Barrels are Your forte. But free surf heats it’s really not about the score, sometimes. It is the people and places that make you a champion. Maybe give it a shot.

Where does Jordy keep pulling out those John John Astrodeck tail pads? Did he stock up on them like Elaine in Seinfeld? Also, he and his family are gold medalists in the family Olympics, no contest.
