He had the experience with the World Bank of dissolving public ownership in Russia and turning it all over the oligarchs. Millions died there in the following years. He wants a bit more taxation, yes, but should give the resources back to the people.

Great speech. Share the wealth and give to the poor, THAT IS LOVE.

I am glad this man has the integrity to speak truth to power. One point I would make, however, is that the leading political parties are pretty much two sides of the same coin. Neither stand up for the right of the nation's school children to be educated in the antiquity of world history, and continue this comprehensive instruction, through to include the present, correctly and truthfully, up to most current of times.. We would learn that Africa has not been afflicted by any difficulty to develop. Children would discover millenia of majestic dynasties, and of the great leaders, both men and women, who stood and fought for the survival of their people, against the onslaught of European invasions. Children would appreciate their own capabilities, and potential, based on their knowledge of the marvelous accomplishments of their ancestors. They would have pride, and confidence in their heritage. The legacy of their existence would no longer be represented by the false stories taught in schools. Those, that make the Africans appear sub human, and without culture or language, nor history. We were instructed to believe these people were found, basically only hunting and gathering.. then brought here so as to help the local farmers.. We were Not taught what was actually the case. That they brutally captured, and kidnapped engineers, teachers, cultivators, architects, hunters, artisans, children, physicians, etc.. trafficked and then enslaved them under the most horrific form of chattel slavery ever. Imagine, if you can, that your family had endured this. And yet they survived and thrived amid disparity and threat of persecution, having moved from being a profitable commodity, to a troublesome liability. Our narrative is purposefully hidden, in the land we made powerful through the many sacrifices made. Reparations are due both to the survivors in lands to which the captives were taken, and to the continent, victim of the terrible African Holocaust, robbing the continent of many millions of its people, and thereby thwarting its continued growth. The Belgium king Leopold slaughtering 15 million in the Congo being only one example of many. Of course this is not shared so Africa can be said not to do well

The system enshrines the pursuit of profit for private use - we need change so that taxes are paid for the benefit of all. Representation at G21 would be a start. If the developed countries can borrow to respond to a pandemic then the resources should be made available to poorer countries so that security improves for all. Thank you for speaking out about this dreadful level of inequality.
