I usually don’t like these but this is the VERY BEST celebrity makeup routine I’ve ever seen. JLO explains every step, mentions why she does it and specifies and shows every product. She walks you through each and every technique and doesn’t gloss over anything. The final product is amazing and she truly knows what she’s doing!

@@lms1190 She had a reputation for being pretty natural back in the day. I'm observant and have seen her without makeup in pics. I remember a Hollywood makeup artist yrs ago saying she was his prettiest client without makeup. All said, it is kind of silly if protocol is to not wear any in these vids. I don't watch them often. If you're vain or self conscious just skip the gig lol. But celebs can't not be seen and get attention. That's what I find gross and ridiculous. They're not normal people (narcissists). They weren't going in most likely and definitely aren't going out.

The way JLo talks about skincare and makeup is just the way I wish to teach my daughter about make up. Starts within and with rest, and is an art through and through. Not to hide your imperfections, but to highlight in the smallest ways (e.g., achieving a pout look) The passion in her explanation just makes me want to do my make up! Heh

She's literally hiding her "Imperfections" with the most obvious filter ever created lol. I get what you're saying, But it's kind of a two way street when she's so passionate about something but at the same time, She's hiding her true self which is more subconsciously damaging to the young woman waching's self Esteem given her platform as a role model. She's spent thousands and thousands of dollars to look the way she wanted and still isn't happy with it. What's that say to the average person that can't afford to just go get surgery to correct their flaws and afford the top of the line products she can. Yet, she's STILL not happy with her appearance apparently.

She wears two wedding dresses in Las Vegas in July on her 4th wedding and she wears three one-million dollar (!!) wedding dresses on her 5th wedding at age 53. She wears wigs, hair extensions, false eyelashes, lip fillers. She uses filters to conceal her skin. Etc What is so ‘down to earth’ about all that?? 😂😂

I love what she said how you feel inside matters so if you’re unhappy it will show even if you have makeup on. It’s true and it happened to me and my moms would say the same thing
