Great introduction, barely skipped a beat from Johnny Gilbert's intro to Ken's appearance. The show must go on so we can heal and begin to smile and join in again. We can smile w/o you again; it just may take us awhile. Thanks to all for helping us remember Alex in so many ways.

Alex is dearly missed but the choice for the right person to take over is PERFECT 👌. I hope Ken stays as the permanent host. He reminds me so much of Mr. Trebek. It was Ken’s time when Jeopardy was at it’s highest mark. Everyday for a looong period of time I looked forward to seeing Ken on the show. I’m sure Ken and Alex developed a strong bond. One can feel their pure admiration for each other! Lots of GOOD LUCK Ken!!!

Jennings is perfect for giving a tribute to Alex, but I am not convinced he is the perfect host for the show. Tribeck was so good. Just a great voice and professional performer.

Jeopardy won’t be the same without Alex, but let’s face it, he had a great run. Was host for almost 40 years, stayed as the host even though he was advised to retire 8 years ago. Let’s embrace this new era of Jeopardy & warmly welcome Ken Jennings, who also was one of Alex biggest fans. We will get used to it.

Ken Jennings hit it right on the head no one would ever replace Alex trebek this game show host of Jeopardy the only way to honor him is to play the game that we all love and that he loved himself. So I commend Ken Jennings for that. However, I wish he was the permanent host of jeopardy.

It's amazing how much nuance there is in reading clues and judging whether an answer is correct or not. I definitely noticed that Ken was faster reading the clues, but maintained clarity incredibly well. That could lead to far fewer games with clues left on the board. I also noticed one time where he didn't clarify a correct answer with a full name where Alex would have, but I was greatly impressed with Ken's ability to steer the show so adeptly. Kudos to him - if he doesn't get the permanent gig, someone will have had to put in a hell of a performance.

Not sure if his personality fits being host full time, but he did a good job. RIP Mr. Trebek, forever a part of the soundtrack/movie to my life.

If people think it's weird with Alex gone, imagine when Johnny Gilbert goes too. He's in his 90's, after all.

I do not feel anybody could ever replace him, but I will give the person credit who is trying to. Not hearing his name tonight shortly I felt like I was stabbed in the stomach ! Life is tough we love and we lose and there is nothing that can be done about it. I hope someday we can all reunite with all our love ones !💕

Betty White should have been the first guest host…for the first clue. Alex mentioned her once as a possible replacement, and I wish that wish had been honored.Yes, she cant be the full time host, but it would have been fitting to have her involved in some way.

It's definitely some big shoes to fill!

Ken is one pretty smart fella, but to me something is missing in his presentation. His voice and cadence just aren't right. I may get use to him or I may not. I like that they are supposed to try others before deciding on a final replacement. As others have said, they have an impossible task to replace Alex , but the show will go on and hopefully with a proper replacement.

The audience who watches the program should Give a Guest host a chance to prove themself. If the producers of the Program choose Ken Jennings then be happy with a host who has familiarity with the Game. A little nervousness can be expected from a Guest host like Ken Jennings.

Ken has always been a smarmy little weasel. I do respect he gave a good intro in his debut but it's more than fair to say, I'm won't be watching Jeopardy for as long as Ken is host.
