Its tough to appreciate Jack's contribution through compilations and montages. He has cemented himself as a very crucial player in Pep's team. In fact, last season, when City had 9 games in April(which is crazy enough), Jack was the only player in the club to start all of them. This shows how much Pep needs him and trusts him. He did have a lot of options to play, all of Phil, Palmer, Mahrez, and Bernardo were available so you know that he specifically wanted him. Doku, on the other hand is a naturally gifted player. His, speed, acceleration, unpredictability and wit will be something Pep can capitalise a lot on. Nonetheless, he was brought to replace Mahrez, Jack vs Doku isn't meant to be a thing. Sure, he will help out when needed to, but he is meant to be a Sterling/Sane 2016-2018 kinda player. Stronger foot out the outer side meaning a better crossing chance which is all you need when you have Haaland. Pep doesn't want to have to play Bernardo is a specific position(RW), he wants to play him wherever he believes will suit him for that specific match. That's his primary attribute. A common thing the between the two, however, is that both don't amass a ton G/A. 15 means a great season. Foden can occasionally help out on both roles as well.

Both are great players not worth comparing as they approach the game differently and play different roles if you look at it closely. However, Doku is a naturally gifted player. His, speed, acceleration, unpredictability, dribbles, and wit are something else. He is just one second slow in releasing the ball at times. I would love to see them play in the same line up and see how they will punish the opposition.

Jack and Doku hardly lose the ball, as a Liverpool fan I also love to watch the top 4 matches. Jack is more of a player who can create space, he holds the ball while other players get into position, he is really good at that but Doku on the other hand goes forward, will go into a brick wall and come out on the other side with the ball and I hardly seen him lose the ball too, he is more explosive in my opinion. Depends on each game or minutes. More of a seasoned player and a rising star who loves to push the limits. Love them both.

Jack Grealish has proven his worth because he can also defend well. There is a lot of instances whereby the Man City defenders were caught pants off by opponent strikers but Jack transitioned from attack with great pace to recover lost possession. Moreover, Jack is more offensive on the line and he doesn't lose the ball. Doku is a good, quick player who can dribble so fast but he has to learn a thing or two from Jack.

However as a fan, you want to watch Doku, dribbling into the box. Doku is only 21 years old and no doubt he's very skilled. He's going to improve. Amazing singing.

When u understand the way of play with certain teams certain situations where we miss some players its good to have both but with precision and speed dokus has more goals and assists

explosive players don't last very long... one or two serious hamstring injuries and the edge can be lost... better use Doku to kill off a tired opponent ... Jack is a stylsit who makes little mistakes... both will have a massive role to play!

If like to see JG going further, like really going beyond what hes doing now and not just fulfill his potential but be really hungry to the improve aswell...as of now he doesn't do that for me. He doesn't give the vibe of really wanting to push himself. It's probably his personality but in Peps sides that won't last long ( you either adapt/grow or leave )

Jack has achieved, he has proven. Doku is yet to learn and achieve, we cannot compare achievement and ambition. These two play the same position differently, in a unique way with different strengths and weaknesses. For a Pep team, Jack can't be benched, although Doku is an exciting prospect.

Is safe to say that Man City will have the possession on all matches. So against teams that have powerful counterattacks you need to make opposition striker defend so when they have the ball the goal is like 70 meters away. For that scenario I would chose Grealish all day. He is very serious with the ball, he doesn't lose it, and it's true that he doesn't dribble forward, but defenders respect him enough to back pedal till the area when he's on the ball. That way you lock the counters. and you still have a creative player and hardworking player on defense. Basically against big team, I would go with Grealish. Against all others, I would choose Doku since you don't really need to be scare of the counters and he has the explosiveness to cut on defenses that are reaaally close to the keeper.

Grealish can come after 60 min when the team needs to be solid defensively after taking the leads. They both can start as well since Foden. Bernardo will not play every match. IMO, I don't see Grealish as winger. He sometimes dulls things on the flanks. He's more suited to the no. 10 role with his vision and ball retention which are his greatest assets; I think he would be lit playing no. 10. Doku is a defender's nightmare on the flanks with his direct dribbling, menacing runs and strength. He's what you need in a winger.
