I can totally see Jenni's perspective though and it is kind of shotty that Sam doesn't want to take part. I cam see both sides and I do think it's great that Deena spoke up for her as a friend. It's weird that Ron is still stuck. He has the emotionally maturity of a 12 year old.

Sammi was in a toxic, abusive relationship in that house. Some of them are obviously angry at her for not returning when they should honestly be mad at Ronnie for treating her so terribly that she does not feel like she can return to that environment. How can they act like it is not 100% Ronnie's fault ?

It wasn’t all his fault, there was an episode I believe where Sammi punched Ronni in the face because he was becoming friends with Jwoww again🤷🏻♀️. It was both who made it toxic, not just one.

i usually love Jenni but her comments about Sammi were so ignorant and immature ! why would sammi need to be there to defend herself from them making fun of her ?? like huh?! whats the point of that lol , "tell her truth"? what freaking truth lmfao shes in a new relationship living her life why would she want to do a show and live in a house with her ex of 7 years who had real life issues with that relationship which we even saw was abusive at times. samantha menendez I completely agree with you, keep in mind jenni and Sammy never had a real relationship though. They never really liked each other. So I’m sure jenni speaks with a lot of animosity towards Sammy. By Sammy not joining the show again shows how far she’s come and her maturity has changed drastically by knowing that putting her mental health first is the best thing to do . Go Sam!

There isn't an excuse for the mean and negative comments that have been made outside of this interview about Sammi, especially from the girls, Sammi has been consistent in all their lives from weddings to births but since the cameras picked up Snooki and Jenni have taken every opportunity to throw her under the bus, particularly Jenni. When Sammi's seen it back it's got to of hurt. It's nice to know she had and still has a loyal and genuine friendship with Deena

Them girls are jealous. Except for Deena of course. Sammy's absence sheds light on how narcissistic they all are. She doesn't need the cool million she's respecting herself by not being these people's joke. They have Ron and Angelina for that and to some extent Vinny. No way would Vinny truly touch any of these women as they are now but because of the money he plays along. Pauly and Vinny will likely never settle down and Mike got lucky. He actually has someone who loved him before he was the situation.

I don't know what they think Sammi needs to "defend". As far as I'm concerned, she and Ronnie were kind of young minded when they were together and didn't mesh well with all the fighting. She came off very insecure and annoying (constantly complaining, punched Ronnie for being friendly with Jenny, petulant) and Ronnie came off very angry, ill-tempered and violent (constant vile name calling, almost threw her out the window while trying to throw her bed outside in a fit of rage, breaking up her personal belongings, screaming in her face). She is in what seems to be a very solid relationship and looks amazingly happy. I think she made the right choice to leave the immature antics in the past and move on with her boyfriend. That's the chapter of life she's in right now. SN: That episode where they had gotten into that fight and he broke up all of her belongings, called her every name in the book, trying to throw her bed out on the porch while she was on it trying to stop him was triggering as hell for me. That was the moment I lost every ounce of respect for Ronnie. Sure, she was annoying and whined A LOT but that didn't validate the things he did to her. If it was that bad he should have broken up with her. That was straight up domestic abuse. That situation, alone, is why I understand why she no longer wishes to be around him. You fall into old patterns and that whole first season Ronnie still seemed bitter over her and all that happened. I fully believe that had she shown up they would have been fighting and who wants to devolve for the sake of a check she clearly doesn't need.
