Jewel is one of those artists many do not like to admit listening too; a bit too much vanilla and sugar perhaps. She is the guilty pleasure personified. But this performance is literally brilliant. She enchants the crowd with her voice and appearance right after the first lines. The passion in her singing is unmistakable: it goes right through you, even sitting behind a computer screen in times of Covid with a sandwich. My throat got dry, my eyes got wet and the perfectly timed rain is just too good to be true. I wish I was there 2O years ago. Magical!

I was there and it was my 4th time seeing her. 1st time was at pointfest, she came on an everyone just wandered away except me. When she started to yodel ( i think to draw the crowd) everyone came back and they flipped out into awe mode. I think it was maybe 90 or so? She had homemade cds to sell and since that day when i bought it, and watched her, ive followed her ever since,in everything she does. She's also an excellent multi business owner and does A LOT for mental health. She really IS a Jewel 💞✌️💞

I was there to the left off stage. Was a surreal momment with a storm coming in and the wind. Starting drizzling at one point. I was 17 and drove from MA. Dam its a punch to stomach seeing this.

Amazing. Girl had severely big balls. Her voice was like none our generation had been exposed to, even after hearing all our parents “greats” that sang solo. You couldn’t get quieter in a 100 person movie theatre nowadays. She owned her moment and still seems like an awesome person.

I can recall vividly being in the USA (Jacksonville, Florida) in mid-1995 and hearing this track on the radio. On the back of that I purchased every CD I could find of the Pieces of You album to give to friends on my return to the UK. Amazingly talented lady.
