The weird thing is, as much as I wanna believe Jim truly is trying to be a whistleblower, the thing as a whole seems like an entirely rehearsed skit. But some of the details of the joke Jim mentions are a little too spot on but also obscure for what I imagine Jimmy's audience is. At least it sounds like hes talking about the Bohemian Grove. The rest about media distractions and turning us into consumer drones is also pretty ahead of its time relatively speaking. Its really quite strange. Then the timing with his GF after this. . .

The scary thing about being a comedian/actor as big and talented as Jim is that no one takes you seriously, and if they do, it's if some tragedy has happened to you. Jim was exposing so much truth to both the audience and those at home and everyone just laughed and clapped. It truly is scary. However, it's not the crowd; it's the producers who are making the fake laughing with recordings or by showing a screen to the audience, which tells them when to laugh. Look up how TV shows make their laughs and can manipulate the viewers. When you hear laughter or when you laugh, you let down your defenses, and whatever is being said seems less serious; almost like it's just a joke. In this show, they put the laughs where they did so that it would all seem like only fun and games when in reality it isn't.
