There is no end to the honor we owe Pete Buttigieg.

They built light rail cars in Austin, TX, but then the '08 Recession hit and I watched all of those cars rust behind chainlink fences in the industrial part of town, because the project was scrapped. Traffic in that city is a nightmare, and people are having to move further into the suburbs to find affordable housing, which is only making the problem worse. They really really needed a light rail. I'm sure more cities need serious upgrades to public transportation, I know it sucks where I live now too.

Is there any appetite in the U.S.A. to get rid of daylight savings time? I live in Canada and on some things (because our economies are so intermingled) we follow the U.S.A. - despite all good sense. Daylight savings time is one.

I feel like it's only become a thing over the last few years but I've been hearing about getting rid of it more and more. Can't speak for everyone but most of Arizona did away with it entirely already and if I while I don't care all that much myself, if I had a choice I'd probably drop it. I would be interested to hear how other people feel about DST though.
