Maybe it’s just me but when I first saw Jin, I didn’t see him as overly confident at all. I felt like he was being that way to overcompensate for something, in this case his shy and quiet nature. I think it’s important to look beneath the surface. Just because someone comes off a certain way doesn’t mean they’re actually that way. I’m not saying Jin isn’t confident because he has his moments when his inner confidence really shines through. I’m just saying that there are times when his confident appearance hides something deeper. I think many people are like that. I think Jin is a great person. when i first became an army, my first impression of seokjin was that he is loud and energetic; outgoing and spontaneous... but as i got to know him more i realized that that's only the persona he shows to us army. seokjin is actually a very shy and private person. he gets flustered when there's too much attention on him and he does not like to share the dark or sad parts of himself to us. seokjin truly is a person who struggles but is so very selfless: in front of the camera he will act very outgoing and confident just to make sure his members feel more comfortable. he is so incredibly caring and hardoworking and it sucks that he does not get all the recognition he deserves. i admire him for so so so many reasons. i'm a person with severe social anxiety and i relate to seokjin a lot. and that's part of the reason why he is my bias. we're similar on many levels and he's my inspiration to be more outgoing and more confident. seokjin, i want you to know that your happiness should be your main priority and that us army's will love and support you no matter what. even when you feel comfortable to talk about your dark and sad parts of yourself, because that wont make us love you any less. you are such a strong, incredible, and talented person. i hope you know that baby boy. i wanna give u a hug so bad lol.
