Most mothers...Black mothers are just too open about it..they post if all over Facebook and Instagram. One of my co workers mothers(black) posted a picture of the two of them in matching outfits out on a date. They looked more like a couple in the picture.

My mom is a neurotic mess who should have never had children. As a small child I was bookish but rambunctious and she always made a point of reminding me how obnoxious she found me by punishing me, mentally and physically. Later on when I became bigger and grew taller than her in adolescence her attitude did a 180 seemingly overnight. She became more caring, more doting and actively sought my advice on household matters. It wasn't uncommon for her to ask me what she should wear for church or cook for dinner. I felt creeped out. She was clearly emotionally divorced from my dad and had started treating me as if I were her husband instead of her child. So while she had been the one who belittled me in childhood, as a teenager I became the one who took to responding with derision and hostility to everything she said or did.

Uggh. My mother in law has this with both sons. And she wasn't a single mother, she got the luck of being a stay at home mom/wife for 47 years. No woman is good enough for her sons. She also had narcissistic personality so the baby son is golden child and 42 years old.hasn't worked in 22 years and of course lives with her. She cleans his room,laundry and cooks! She threw her husbands ashes in a dumpster. Which was last straw for my husband,the oldest son and scapegoat! Its so crazy he's the successful one, gave her a grandchild and she's still so sick. Its very sad! I wouldn't disable my children this way...I have a girl which is hard but me and my husband both agree when she's an adult and if she's happy and healthy that is what's important. And when she married we will accept them as a member of our family.😊

my mother in law is a single mother, my husband has recognized since ive mentioned the jacosta complex to him that she is weird af. when we told her we wanted to get married she laughed and said "over my dead body" god can strike me if i am lying. we announced our pregnancy a few days ago and she threw her hands down to her side and whined "I was supposed to announce it" and my husband immediately shut her down. she hasnt spoke to us since and she is residing under our roof. she also kisses him and calls him baby and papi which would be normal as a mother but she doesnt do that with her daughters. he is the oldest and i often feel as though she envys me that her son sleeps with me and not her.

My gf is less than 2 months older than me and I don't like it. Before me and still now she has some feminist opinions and progressive ones too.
