One of my favorite comedians(not gonna spell the feminine version). I liked her own show but it caused a rift with Johnny and didn't last long. She insisted her husband be the producer and I guess the Big Wigs didn't like him. Was strange that she wasn't considered as a replacement for Johnny. She always did well when he was on vacation as his replacement.

Is it true The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel was based on Joan? It’s ironic Joan was the host of Fashion Police but her wardrobe was never appealing and yet the series character ALWAYS looked fantastic.
