Excited for the 3d, acer has a monitor ready for retail later this year with software support and big list of games working. Can adjust the depth strength and popout effect... looks spectacular. Did you get to experience it?

why would ANY company even think of using matte-semi?matte coating on oled + this white bezels across the screen for additional player distraction? Who asked for this?!

@@junyaiwase it is up to you. Some people prefers to buy almost expired food for example (because discounts and "more rich taste") instead of fresh products. Maybe a bad analogy - but who cares. asus rogpg32ucdm seems to be the best for now - aw3225qf if you love curve screen(but many problems and scrached screens) - also MSI mpg 321urx seems to be okay and only 1000 dollars price (but the design is...meh).

Once again great CES coverage Joelster) I like that 3D monitor, hope that makes it into production one day. Not sure what camera you used for making this video..but wow camera quality is off the charts great job !👌

Thanks, honestly I used my phone for this whole entire CES coverage, I had my sony camera but it was constantly out of focus and the battery was terrible so I used my Samsung S23 Ultra instead.

The G8 appears to be a smaller version of my Samsung S95B QD-OLED TV. I eagerly anticipate its release this summer.

Have you heard anything about the G8's MotionClear/Black frame insertion setting? With Samsung's S90C & S95C QD-OLED TV's, MotionClear reduces 50% of OLED motion blur, and doubles motion clarity, which makes a substantial difference, when gaming at 60fps. Unfortunately, input lag shoots up from 10ms to nearly 30ms, which ultimately ruins the feature. If the 32" G8 can deliver a somewhat bright enough picture when using BFI, while only adding a tiny bit more latency this time around, than I'm sold! :P I really want to use this TV for those Analogue Nt 8-16 HD consoles, since it's a good size AND it's QD-OLED. The LG C3 may have a 42", but it's still just a WOLED and I'm not interested in that. As is, I can't stand OLED/QD-OLED at 100% motion blur without BFI OR 120fps. I wish I could magically run my Switch & PS5 at 240fps(4ms motion persistence) and cut down even more motion blur, but that's strictly for beefy PC's running less demanding titles that support it.

No, no Atmos on monitors, you can get that from PC and a good set of speakers.

No info on that, but the Alienware model is already coming out, you can preorder it on dell's website so I think the G8 will be out in the next couple of months.

@@waifoos3213 Me too lol, im leaning more towards Asus PG32UCDM which has a glossy display and QD-OLED panel from samsung, Im uploading my video from ASUS rn, it should be live tomorrow morning.
