I believe some things are perfect, and this is an example of that. Between this opening, the actual substance of the Golden Wind arc itself, and everything surrounding the themes, concepts, & hype... Part 5 anime is polarizing, but it's one heck of an experience. JJBA is brilliantly bizarre & this song is brilliantly composed..

When I first started watching Jojo I was completely taken aback by how great the intro was. I had liked anime intros before, but whenever I would binge one I'd skip the intro regardless of how much I liked it so I could hurry and watch the show. I could never do that with Jojo. Sono Chi No Sadame was amazing, and when Battle Tendancy hit I was convinced that I would never love a Jojo intro as much as that. Stardust Crusaders part 1 was close for me, but BT was still my absolute favorite. I finish Diamond is Unbreakable and that prior statement still stood, so at this point it was absolute. I just wasn't going to like an intro song as much as that one... Then Part 5 happened, and I heard Fighting Gold. I don't know any of what the words mean, I never read them because I was too busy just enjoying the song and animation. I can now say without a shadow of a doubt, that no intro of any show will ever beat Fighting Gold for me.

Damn right it is. It has literally everything. Gratuitous engrish, cyborg nazis, music references, vampires, fantastic op's, speedwagon, and a man with a hand fetish all rolled into one package. Sword Art Online has none of that.
