So, story time.. I was dating a guy for 9 months, id known him for about 5 years before, we went to school together and we were friends, we didn't talk a lot at first but once we REALLY startes talking we ende dul dating, 9 months later he says he isnt happy, few days pass and we end up splitting up.. It was hard, moreso for me than him because i didn't know what I'd done wrong. This song speaks to me, because i know i wasnt anywhere near over him.. 8 months later i get a text from him... "Hey.." And we started talking again, we'd talked during the seperation, not often, maybe like 4 times over the 8 months, mostly not long conversation, short "hey congratulations on ext..." Or "happy birthday", stuff like that. But i find it crazy because a year and a half later here we are, still together now. Doing really good. I could really relate to " I know you know we know you werent down for forever and its fine, i know you know we know we weren't meant for eachother and it's fine..." I relate to it a lot because i tried to be fine during all of that but it's crazy to me how you can think that and still end up back together and totslly meant for each other. Sometimes all it takes is time and a little growing up to completely change things. ❤
